Overall Build Mode Usability:
I would really love to see updates to Build Mode to make it feel more intuitive and accessible for regular players. Right now, building feels unintuitive and requires extra steps for basic actions. I’m a fairly decent builder, not an expert, and I find myself struggling with things that should feel simple and fluid.
Easier Wall & Texture Painting:
One of the most frustrating parts of Build Mode is wall painting. I would love the ability to simply click and drag to paint across walls easily. Right now, this doesn’t feel natural or straightforward, and it makes simple design tasks feel more complicated than they should be.
Improved Eyedropper Tool:
The eyedropper tool is confusing and doesn’t work the way I expect it to. I would love to be able to click on an existing wall or surface, copy exactly what is currently applied (color, texture, material), and then apply it directly to another wall or surface. This would save a lot of time and prevent unnecessary extra steps.
Saved Presets for Commonly Used Styles:
It would be amazing to have the ability to save presets for walls, textures, or finishes that I use often. Right now, if I create a combination I really like, I have to recreate it every single time in future builds. Being able to save and reuse presets would make building faster and much less frustrating.
Fewer Extra Steps for Basic Actions:
Many actions in Build Mode feel like they require more steps than necessary. Simplifying workflows for common tasks would make building feel smoother and more enjoyable, especially for players who are not advanced builders.
Adjustable Lot Types (Rezoning):
One of the biggest limitations right now is lot types. I would love the ability to change or rezone any lot to a different type. If I don’t want a lot to be residential, I should be able to convert it into a business, office, entertainment venue, or something else. Lot types shouldn’t feel locked or restrictive.
Player-Friendly Build Experience:
Overall, I would love Build Mode to feel more welcoming to average players, not just highly skilled builders. Making tools more intuitive, flexible, and forgiving would encourage more players to build and customize their worlds.
