The issue today: Whenever I download a lot (like a 
smoothie place, 
spa, 
restaurant, or 
bar), the game automatically removes all functional items — kiosks, massage tables, menus to order food, etc. This completely kills the purpose of downloading or upgrading a lot from one save to another.
Solution: Please allow the lot to keep its functionality 
. Let us retain the functional items so we can actually enjoy and play in those lots as intended 
.
FYI- This was not a bug, the team advised that it was intended to work that way. Let’s hope they will change it very soon 
I really hope that this is something that the team will add as soon as possible. I really enjoy building and redecorating public spaces, and sharing them with the community. Lately I have stopped doing that because so many of them have game functions, that will dissappear if anyone downloads them, making the whole thing kind of pointless. 
Yes me too. That should not even be considered as a ‘wishlist’ but as a glitch, but for some reason it’s intended.
In my opinion it’s priority #1 ! Let’s hope they are doing it soon
