Zois Refusing Conversations

Every time I try to talk to anyone (family member or outside zois) it always pops up as refuse conversation or will cancel my interaction. It happened in my save I made after the update and one I made today when trying to figure out what’s going on. I’ve tried emergency rescue, multiple different interactions, restarting the game multiple times. I tried in bliss bay and cahaya

Same this is happening to me. It started after the 8/25/25 update. Nothing is working, but I do believe that the update caused it. EDIT: I am not sure which mod, but I after the update it started acting up. Luckily, I only downloaded a few mods.

this is happening to me too. my zois just got married, so i wonder if that has something to do with it? others have reported this bug on other sites too

To help us better understand the issue, could you provide a bit more information?

  1. Have you ever used any mods including hair and clothing? If so, could you please try deleting all files under the following folder:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\inZOI\BlueClient\Content\Paks\~mods
    ※ Please note that the folder name at the end may vary (e.g., ~mods, mod, or mods).

  2. Could you please share either your save file or a recording of the issue?
    Save file paths:

  • Windows PC: \Documents\inZOI\SaveGames\
  • Mac (Steam): \Documents\inZOI\SaveGames\
  • Mac (App Store): \Library\Containers\com.krafton.inzoi\Data\Documents\inZOI\SaveGames\

If you share the files via a Drive link, please make sure the sharing settings are set to “Anyone with the link can access” so we can review them.
If you’d prefer not to share them publicly, you can also submit the files via the inZOI Support Center.

Have you found a solution? I have this bug as well. My family can’t interact with their toddler because every action leads to “refuse conversation” and they can’t feed him :unamused_face:

Certain mods seem to cause this issue. I recall having to adjust two mods that I made myself to not edit 'Conditions’ related JSONs because no matter what I edited in those, it would result in this awful bug. I hope eventually we will be able to edit all JSONs without having to worry about this bug cropping up.

Yes, my “loving” married Zoi’s suddenly wont interact. They keep putting their hands up and refusing every dialogue or action with one another.

I figured out it was one of the furniture mods I had. I just disabled all of them and it seemed to have worked

I have this problem as well, even after disabling mods. Every interaction gets refused with every zoi.

So i disabled all my mods and the bug was gone. Since I had a bunch of furniture, hair and clothing mods I didn’t want to test every single one of them till it works, so for now I play without them.

Glad to hear that the issue was resolved after deleting the mods.

If you’re still experiencing the same issue even after deleting all mods under these folders:

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\inZOI\BlueClient\Content\Paks\~mods,
  • Documents/inZOI/Saved/Mods

Could you please share a recording of the issue?

You can now attach video files directly in the Forums, but please note there’s a 30MB size limit.

thank you so much. my Zois wanted to make friends but nobody wanted to talk to her when they used to before I downloaded some mods. deleted the mod you mentioned “Table_set_01_1EA96F59” and yaah. they now can converse again.
