Enriching Everyday Life and the Ocean in Cahaya

  1. Enhancing the Resort Atmosphere
Cahaya has a strong resort vibe, but it often feels like the player is the only one enjoying a vacation. Adding NPCs that interact with the environment—for example, fishing at the pier or relaxing around the resort—would make the area feel much more lively and immersive.

  2. Boat Fishing
It feels limiting that fishing from a boat is not possible despite the beautiful ocean scenery. Since the boat already has a seat-switching feature, it would be great if a “start fishing” option were added. Catching sharks from the shoreline feels unrealistic, so incorporating boat fishing would add more immersion.

  3. Making Fishing More Engaging
The current fishing system feels too simple and repetitive. While automatic fishing can remain, a manual fishing mode would be very welcome—where players could have higher chances of success or even catch special fish. Even without extra rewards, a fun and interactive fishing mechanic would significantly increase playtime.

  4. Festival Vibes Around the Billboard
The billboard area should feel like the heart of a festival, but currently it lacks atmosphere. Adding NPCs interacting with festival-related activities would make the area feel far more vibrant and festive.

  5. Expanding Uninhabited Island Content
When swimming to the uninhabited island, exhaustion slows the player too much, making the return trip overly tedious. While the box sleeping bag and buildable zones are nice touches, the island could offer more unique experiences—such as hunting and cooking meat, building a hideout to invite friends, or setting up hammocks between trees.

  6. Introducing a Crop Storage System
Farming in Cahaya is inconvenient because the bag limit of 100 items is too restrictive. Even a small garden of 10–20 plots produces more crops than the bag can hold. A crop storage system would be very helpful—either as a simple storage unit or by allowing delivery staff to collect directly from it. Farming is often more about completing collections or enjoyment rather than profit, so the current bag limit reduces engagement.

  7. Expanding Ocean Activities
Cahaya’s ocean already has dangerous areas and coral zones, and snorkeling allows players to observe fish. However, it would be far more immersive if players could manually control diving—collecting coral or shells and swimming alongside fish. Existing threats such as jellyfish and sharks should remain, but instead of always leading to death, there could be scenarios where players are rescued by a lifeguard or marine rescue team. This would preserve tension while also adding immersion.

  8. Improving Aquariums
Currently, aquariums serve only as storage, without showing fish swimming naturally. It would be much more engaging to see the fish actively swimming and to decorate the tanks. In the resort lobby’s large aquarium, the shark appears static and lifeless. In reality, sharks must keep moving to breathe, or they would sink and die. While not everything can be fully realistic, reflecting this detail would better match Cahaya’s seaside concept. A slight reduction in fish size when placed in aquariums would be perfectly acceptable.

  9. Customizable Personal Boats
Cahaya is centered around the ocean, yet players cannot own or customize their own boats. Adding a feature to build and personalize boats would greatly enrich the experience. These could range from small fishing boats to yachts or exploration vessels, with customization options for both appearance and functionality. Boats could also serve practical purposes such as storage or as social spaces where friends can gather and enjoy the sea together, seamlessly connecting with Cahaya’s marine content.
