Cahaya Feedback
We are still far from having explored everything this world has to offer (since our plane got struck by lightning and we’ve been washed ashore on the Deserted Island ö.ö), so we’re sharing the things we’ve noticed and experienced so far about:
We are exploring Cahaya for quite a while now and I still can’t get over how beautiful it is and how real it feels.
I’m playing games for ~ 45 years and I’ve never visited an ingame place that felt so real and gave me the impression that it could look just like this in the real world. But Cahaya does.
Dowon already gave me happy kdrama vibes, but Cahaya puts it to a whole new level and makes me curious and exited what the future of inZOI will bring.
What could be improved:
I’d love the beach at the Main Island a bit more colorful/ ‘better furnished’/with more options, like a small shabby beach bar with music and a fire to dance and meet people. I get that it’s ‘just’ the Main Island where the locals live and work and not the fancy Resort Island, but the hard working ‘Cahayans’ deserve a little fun too 
It also can be run down to meet the vibes of the Island.
Let us bring families from other cities to Cahaya via the household manager so we can let more than one of our households live there (for us rotational players).
I would absolutely love to meet the Zois from the trailers! They seem to have thrilling background stories and are quite iconic.
There is no way being bored at Cahaya - there is so much to do and explore!
I just found out we can even feed the seagulls from the boat!
The developers really outdid themselves with ‘Island Getaway’ and from what I’ve seen, it totally turned the opinion people had about inZOI (of course not everyone’s but that’s okay).
My heart was so happy to see so many people interested in inZOI at gamescom!
I love the new collection system, it makes me curious what the world has to offer and explore it further.
What could be improved:
Poses: In the trailers and teasers (starting 1:26 in this official video for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRkC9YCqv7A) for ‘Island Getaway’ I saw some new poses but they are not available (as far as I’ve seen) and I was a bit disappointed. I’m a story teller and I really hope we will get them (and that the ones we already have will be improved, some of them are overdone and look uncanny/unnatural ö.ö).
Swimming: Let our Zois ‘swim around’ in the ocean (and pools) so we don’t have to micromanage every move of them. Also let all actions last longer than a few seconds.
Diving: Let us dive freely and maybe also add a few underwater ‘adventures’ like harvest underwater plants, search for treasures, pet fish, explore a wreck, meet merfolk…
(Kjun already mentioned they keep developing the underwater world)
Surfing: I saw in a video it is possible to surf in the ocean in Bliss Bay, but I wasn’t able to at Cayaha
Let us buy and not just rent boats and diving gear.
Let us take photos while our Zois hold sth in their hands (like fishing rods), so many moments and memories get lost 
Let us speed up time while fishing on a boat
Negative communications: Cahaya is such a beautiful world, but still the conversations between Zois are mostly negative. I switched to a premade household of 4 and all of them(!) had negative topics in their action bar even though I put the positive conversations on high and the negative on low in the settings.
I’m a builder and couldn’t be happier with all the great new objects that came with ‘Island Getaway’! All the new roof options alone are amazing!
But what I love most are the shabby furniture, I will use them a lot, not only at Cahaya.
What could be improved:
Wall climbing/covering plants would have been so great for tropical Cahaya!
(Interims Solution: Give us the option to enable the ‘gizmo’ for all objects (not only the 3D printed)
Like this we could tilt the floor plants and raise them up the wall. This would also be awesome for placing the bigger plants in pots on surfaces (because most of them are too small to put on the floor), hanging rugs on the wall or to resize objects.
Endless possibilities with a feature that’s already there!
I also wish there were a few more colorful, blooming plants and trees. There is one beautiful blooming tree I see often at Cahaya, but sadly it’s not available in build mode
Patterns: I would have loved some Indonesian style patterns! Like the ones that hang on the rack object. For the beds and sofas, paintings, walls. But also for clothes!
Hidden Objects: Please give us access (maybe via a cheat, like the ‘buydebug’ cheat in the Sims) to the hidden objects. There are objects that are only available for community lots at Cahaya (like the painting with the four cats sitting in front of the cat temple) and even objects like the ‘shrubbery toilet’ or the NPC cats we have no access to at all. I’d love to be able to place these objects/animals on my lots.
Resorts: I’d love to build my own resort at the Resort Island but it’s impossible to completely delete the premade resorts.
Solution: Let us fully edit all lots.
Food Stands: Give us the option to place functional food stand on residential lots. I love to build multi purpose lots and it would add so much to the vibe. I would even be fine if you just removed the ‘closed’ sign so I could place a mannequin as a ‘vendor’ ^^’
Bigger Cahaya objects (plants/sun shades…) and two of the smallest new fences can’t be placed on platforms (similar objects from base game are not effected)
I also noticed that not all of the new Cahaya Objects are reclorable, I hope this will be added in the future.
From my 12 Zois only 3 are female, so I was very happy and excited about the many new options for my male Zois <3
My wish for the future is that inZOI keeps this up.
When I saw the results of a survey stating almost the half of all players are male I couldn’t believe it but I saw it myself at gamescom and it’s true!
I also hope for some ‘cooler’ clothes in future updates.
What could be improved:
- there is a weird gap between the long necklaces and the Zoi’s chest
(I already have a solution: expand the ‘gizmo’ (we already have for the headpieces and earrings) to the other categories of the accessoires (I’d love to have that ‘gizmo’ for all objects, please)
The quality and the quantity of ‘Island Getaway’ are just top tier and we are very happy at Cahaya. Thank you for this great update/DLC!
