Feedback to Further Light Up Cahaya

I love Cahaya! Island Getaway a beautifully conceived DLC that redefines the spirit and beauty of inZOI. It helps solidify this game as the next generation in the evolution in the life simulation genre. The luxury spa and resort amenities, boating, snorkeling, mining, foraging, farming, and other features make Cahaya a rare gem within the inZOI universe.

One suggestion to enhance Cahaya’s vibrancy is to introduce a nightlife scene. Adding multiple NPC DJs and DJ booths near the pools and beaches would greatly enrich the resort atmosphere. More NPCs dancing and partying on the beach and throughout the resort area pools would bring a lively, energetic vibe. The beach club adjacent to the resort would be another ideal spot for a DJ and dance area for Zois to mix and mingle. A touch more liveliness would truly illuminate Cahaya, making it even more perfect. Also, if there is a way to increase the number of Zois visiting and enjoying the resort beach and pools, it will help make the area feel more alive. Seeing more NPCs swimming would also add to the immersion.

Another idea is to enable Zois to grill food on the beach using outdoor grills. Currently, Zois are unable to barbecue for their families in public spaces such as parks and beaches, which feels like a missed opportunity for family picnics. Access to outdoor grills should not be contingent on owning a refrigerator, as players should be able to cook outside using food stored in a portable cooler. I would also love for the deserted island to be fully inhabitable, allowing players to cook food on a grill or stove and set up utilities if they wish to own, build a house and live on the small island (for a substantial fee of course).

Additionally, it would be nice if you would please consider adding a wide variety of tropical drinks to the bar. While coffee is appreciated, we really need some island-inspired mocktails to match the beach vibe, such as colorful, tropical island drinks with little umbrellas. To keep it teen-friendly, you could label them as “juice” or “fruit punch,” making them non-alcoholic but still festive and fun. A short animation of the bartender mixing and pouring the drink before serving it would also add a nice immersive touch, as well as NPCS autonomously sitting at the bar and enjoying these beverages.

Finally, as you are aware, there’s a major issue with resort room rentals. Currently, only the Zoi who pays for the room can access it, leaving the rest of the family locked out, often standing outside in the cold. Friends and romantic interests are also unable to visit, as there’s no way to grant them access without using the ‘unlockDoor true’ cheat. This severely impacts gameplay for vacations, honeymoons, and even solo travelers who want to invite someone back to their room to relax, watch TV, or build a relationship. Perhaps you can remove the locked door permissions entirely until this issue is resolved? Or maybe you can tie the room rental system to the entire household, instead of the individual?

One workaround, discovered by Neuworld, involves evicting the family from their home in Cahaya and moving them directly into the resort via the map, but this is far from ideal. It disrupts their home life and shouldn’t be necessary just to enjoy a vacation. A more seamless solution would be to follow The Sims 4: Island Living model, where when you rent a bungalow, all travelers in the vacation group can access the property without losing their permanent residence. If this kind of access system could be implemented, it would significantly improve the vacation and resort gameplay experience.

Thank you to Kjun, the talented inZOI Studio Team, and KRAFTON for going above and beyond with delivering this wonderful game! Hopefully these suggestions will help you to further “light up Cahaya,” although it’s pretty luminous as it is. :desert_island:

Excellent! :psycat_thumbsup: A mini fridge, functional coolers, and a wider variety of drinks would be a great addition to the game.:psycat_paw:
