Lot suddenly reset during game

  • Hardware Specifications & Operating System: Windows 11 Home, AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core, AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT, 32 GB, 1,62 TB free storage on main Disk, and 931 GB free storage on Disk where the game is installed.

  • Issue Date: 02.09.2025

  • Error Message: No message, the game runs fine.

ISSUE: In the middle of regular gameplay, the old house on the lot suddenly appeared and I could interact with the objects, and my new home that I had built was gone?!

Backstory:

I loaded up my game that I have been playing on regularly last couple of weeks. I had previously evicted a family from a lot, and then bought the lot and moved in myself (I had to borrow 140k from the bank to do so). When I arrived at my new lot, I deleted the house by clicking on the rooms and deleting everything (I wanted to keep the garden as it was). I built a new home on the lot and was very happy with it. Had played with it a couple of times (saved and exited game, loaded up my save and played). And now my Zoi was sitting on the couch reading and suddenly the old house appeared and I was “locked” out of the doors???

I saved the game as a new slot and exited without saving, because this scared me and I don’t want to lose my gameplay to this.

Could not find a topic with similar problem.

I’ve just had the same issue just now i moved into a new lot with my zoi’s i clicked a new house and it replaced the old one and had been playing it for over 24 hours and been fine tonight i went on just added a small pool and gate and let the zoi’s sleep and at 6:04am when they wake up to go do their things the house resets itself every time even tried saving as a new save thinking that might help but it didn’t , got it on video happening but the forum wont let me post it as its more than 30mb apparently ,
