Babysitter Bug with SmartZoi Enabled

  • Steps to Reproduce: Reloading the save reproduces the issue.

I’m on the most current update (2026.02.12) and just had a bug with babies and the babysitter occur after enabling SmartZoi.

I’m playing with an 8 member household - 5 Adults and 3 Minors, Including the baby. I’ve tested and played in this save multiple times with no issue (with SmartZoi disabled). Today, I decided to enable SmartZoi and immediately I received a pop-up that babysitter would come to care for babies that had been left alone and the baby had been safely escorted home.

               1. Everyone was home and none of the adults had ever left the lot.
               2. The baby was no longer in their crib and never returned.
               3. The babysitter could not be dismissed as she was ‘busy’.

Eventually, the babysitter left on her own, but the baby still did not return. I tested this 2 more times with SmartZoi on by reloading the save and was able to reproduce the bug. Re-disabling SmartZoi did not solve the issue. Baby is whisked away as soon as I hit play.

I tested your save file and can confirm that the baby (8th Zoi in household) is stuck somewhere outside of the map according to my research.

With such disturbing and horryfying bugs affecting babies I can’t belive why they still insist we can’t move with them.
Any other issue would be better than this or this.

Thank you for testing the save and providing more information! Hopefully, this bug can be resolved soon.
