I am a little confused about Canvastown. The way it has been described has changed since it was first proposed. It was initially described as a space that was entirely customisable, with everything being a part of the player’s play space. It has since been described as a way for players to share save files and stories.
My hopes for Canvastown…
I’d like to be able to create a town and design every aspect of it.
I want to be able to design the terrain and the surrounding landscape, to create a town set in the hills or a town surrounded by mountains. And I’d like to be able to customise the streets, so that I can have a town with dirt roads or cobblestone streets.
I want to be able to fill the town with buildings I’ve created or found on canvas, to create a town with an architectural style of my choosing.
Basically, I’d like to have the tools to create a detailed world.
Please give us more information…
I understand that the team is preparing a test build but it would be really good to have more information while we wait. This would be especially helpful if the concept for canvastown has changed.
