  • Please fix the issue where all upper floors of buildings are constantly being hidden.

    While this is an incredibly convenient and useful feature for top-down view users since they look down from the sky, shoulder-view users primarily view buildings from the character’s eye level.
    Because of this, every time I leave and re-enter home a lot, or if I stay inside the house for a long time, all the upper floors and the roof keep disappearing, which looks very unnatural and is quite inconvenient. It is also very exhausting and tedious to have to press the Page Up key every single time.
    The issue persists indoors as well; whenever I go downstairs using the stairs, the upper floor automatically disappears again. It looks really strange.

    As far as I know, this issue was fixed once before during the Island Getaway release. However, it seems that the issue is occurring once again. Please take the perspective of shoulder-view users into account when fixing game issues.
    Please add a separate solution for this issue as an option or a cheat.

Hey there, thank you for posting this!

I’ve moved your thread to the Wishlist category, since it’s very likely that this feature works as intended by the devs atm. I understand that it’s tedious for players who are using shoulderview, but it doesn’t appear to be a bug. Thank you for understanding :folded_hands:

However, if you had played in shoulder-view properly even once, you would know that this is a very annoying and inconvenient feature. It is hard to see it as something the developers intended.

I believe this happened because a feature tailored for top-down view users was applied to shoulder-view users without any adjustments. I also hope this issue gets fixed as soon as possible.

The houses of shoulder-view users often have most of their structures constantly disappearing, and i can’t see the buildings properly…

From what you’ve described, I can only imagine how much of a pain it must be to use shoulderview. I totally get that it feels like a bug because it keeps players from fully enjoying the game, but I assume the team would prefer to have it listed here. If I’m mistaken, they’ll definitely move it again :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes! I love using some of the roof presets without the ceiling - it creates a vaulted ceiling and it looks amazing but it’s so hard to see :sob:
