Hello most beloved InZoi Team!
I play mostly as a builder. What is holding me back is a lack of terrain tools, and basements. I would hope that when basements are made they are part of the same building (not something below the map) and can be made to seamlessly integrate into ravine lots. Walk out basements that have the land meet up with the sides of the building seamlessly. Lot topography that blends seamlessly with the surrounding map.
Fine details need to be added to build mode. Baseboards, wainscotting, crown molding, light switches, electric sockets, floor and wall vents.
I also find the texture and pattern system in build mode needs to be more universal. All textures should be available for all surfaces!
More “under construction” elements need to be added, like open framing walls, and and wall textures as framed, with fiberglass, and fiberglass covered in plastic. A ceiling texture that’s exposed floor beams. Floor objects like floor drains and sump pits. Textures for damp basement walls, attic floors that are exposed beams with insulation in-between.
I hope that CanvasTown will be 100% customizable. Being able to stitch the CanvasTowns together is brilliant! Integrating the option to import maps from something like OpenStreetMap could be used to make a “Real Earth” community project where InZoi creators could make a CanvasTown quilt map of the real world!
What is holding me back for Zois is that I still can’t make a Zoi that looks like me. The baby genetics also needs to be much more refined. There needs to be separate eyes, nose and mouth categories not only to improve Zoi creation, but also to allow more trait mixing for babies.
Also PLEASE REDUCE THE CHANGES BETWEEN MALE AND FEMALE ZOIS. This is game breaking awful. I make a Zoi and the opposite gender version has a totally messed up face. This makes ugly children and and the whole playing with Zois no fun.
Gradual aging would be ideal. An easy work-around with what we have would be an option to pick between the current male and female heights, but for any Zoi. Let short men be the current women’s height, let tall women be the current men’s height.
