Try canceling the action, these seem to be waiting for certain zois to be in the right exact place to perform the action and if the zois cannot get into the right place they stay standing indefinitely.
Even if I cancel and move, nothing changes unfortunately.
I’ve noticed this in my game too lately. Just like @JoyIsFunner said, I think this has something to do with the NPCs unable to perform their part of the interaction properly in certain situations. I noticed that it doesn’t happen very often though. Wasn’t able to pinpoint what causes this interaction bug yet 
It happens to me quite often, in places where there are quite a few Zois.
This is happening to me as well. Kind of like a simulation lag of some sort.
Yeah happened a few times for me as well. Very annoying.
I modified the topic title because before the recent updates I didn’t have this problem. So I can only think it’s a bug, unless some developer explains otherwise to me.

I can’t send a save file, I did have this happen often when trying to play inZOI though, as you can see @RealmOfZoi first video the zois are literally doing nothing and like I said “these seem to be waiting for certain zois to be in the right exact place to perform the action and if the zois cannot get into the right place they stay standing indefinitely.” hopefully someone here can send a save file for you, and if anyone plays soon enough they will encounter this problem.

Created a support ticket for you, had the same problem 3 or 4 times.

- Platform: Steam, Windows
- NPCs don’t interrupt conversations: on
I play the game sometimes on my own PC (with only a GeForce GTX 1070 Ti) and sometimes with GeForce Now Ultimate. The problem occurs in both cases, but I can only send the files from my own PC. SmartZoi is disabled on my PC, but enabled in GeForce Now.
Yes, it also occurs with Smartzoi ON, it doesn’t seem to be related to the problem.
