As the title says, my Zoi just skipped straight from Young Adult to Adult after blowing out his birthday cake.
I started playing this Zoi as a teenager to play a new high school. On his birthday, he aged up from Teenager to Young Adult right at midnight (in-game time). Later that exact same day, I scheduled him a birthday party. And as you can see, my Zoi completely skipped the Young Adult phase on the same day, making him older than his own parents now.
Another weird thing is why all his classmates are still teenagers who haven’t even graduated yet. On the day of his party, they were still going to school, while my Zoi had already graduated, had zero classes left on his schedule for the week, and only had the graduation event on Sunday.
If the game eventually syncs up their graduation dates later on, I could totally understand that. Honestly, I don’t even know if that’s gonna happen because I haven’t played through to Sunday yet. But what I don’t get is how my Zoi and his classmates ended up with completely different age stages when they literally share the exact same birthday.
If this isn’t a bug, I honestly don’t know what it is, or what to even think about this. A journey to Gargantua in reverse?
Hopefully, this gets fixed soon! Sending lots of love and support to the awesome dev team to keep up the great work. I’d much rather see this patched than have to skip throwing birthday parties altogether, or throw a party but ban him from blowing out candles just so he doesn’t end up older than his own dad lol.

This last screenshot shows what happened when I reloaded an earlier save from before he blew out the candles. I cancelled the birthday party and went straight home. As you can see, his age is back to normal now and he’s not older than his dad anymore.
