I tried it too unfortunately it was the same for me.

I have tried them all today

And it is still the same

The skill does not increase

I hear ya the not being able to put fish in tanks is also a serious one I’ve reported that still goes ignored over a month later. I have seen this one too for since the same time they broke the fish.
