Coffee Craft – Skill progression & money notes (Level 0 → Level 10)
While building up my Business, I took a closer look at Coffee Craft and wrote everything down for future reference — so I’m sharing my notes here in case it helps others decide whether the skill is worth it.
Settings: 96-minute day
Drink duration: ~20 min • refills slightly less than ¼ of the Hunger gauge
Quick Summary
-
Coffee Craft has no special unlocks besides recipes.
-
Brew times vary: most are ~13–14 min, some ~11–12 min, and Cold Brew ~7–8 min.
-
Base values follow the same clean ladder seen in other skills (ignoring Bad):
Medium = M → Good = 2xM → Excellent = 3xM → Perfect = 4xM -
Quality progression feels less “reliably late-game boosted” than other skills: even at Level 10, Bad can still happen, and Perfect can happen early.
My main issue with Coffee Craft is the scaling:
-
At Coffee Craft Level 10, low-level recipes seem to benefit the most (they often roll Excellent/Perfect).
-
Many high-level recipes (Level 8–10) don’t feel as “reliably high-quality” in comparison.
-
Base values scale poorly with recipe tier: craft costs increase, but the value often doesn’t — meaning some Level 4 drinks are worth the same as a Level 10 drink.

| Level 8 → 9 | 16 | ~3h30m |
| Level 9 → 10 | 12 | ~3h35m (more 18–19 min recipes used) |
Total brewing time (Level 0 → Level 10): ~26h 15m (in-game)
Utility / buffs (when drinking)
-
Iced coffee: +1 Content for 1 hour (cool you off)
-
Bad coffee: +1 Uncomfortable for 1 hour (from drinking bad quality coffee)
-
Excellent Americano: +1 Confident for ~15 min (“perfect crema”)
(There may be more buffs; I didn’t drink every recipe.)
Pattern found (base values)
For Inventory / Build Mode selling, Coffee Craft follows the same logic as Baking, Cooking and Drink Mixing:
-
Medium = M
-
Good = 2xM
-
Excellent = 3xM
-
Perfect = 4xM

Business selling — what multiplier do I get?
From the prices I logged, Business selling scales very predictably with ★ rating:
-
4★ ≈ ~3.7×–3.8× base
-
5★ ≈ ~4× base
Confirmed example (5★, exact 4×):
For Caffè Mocha / Iced Vanilla Latte (base values 7/14/21/28), I recorded 28 / 56 / 84 / 112 at 5★.
Business selling — best profit per sold cup (measured tables)
Profit is per sold cup: profit = sell price − craft cost.
Tables below are sorted by profit (descending).

Estimated “absolute top” at 5★ (clearly labeled as estimates)
I only logged 5★ Perfect explicitly for a few drinks. Since the Mocha group shows exact 4× base at 5★, it’s very plausible that the highest-base groups will be the absolute top profit winners at 5★ when they roll Perfect.
These two groups are the highest base-value tier in my dataset (Perfect base = 36):
-
Feline Grace (Perfect base value 36) → estimated sell ≈ 144 at 5★ → profit ≈ 144 − 15 = 129
-
Double Chocolate Chip Crunch Shake (Perfect base value 36) → estimated sell ≈ 144 at 5★ → profit ≈ 144 − 13 = 131
Key takeaways
-
Base value ladder is consistent: Medium/Good/Excellent/Perfect follow M / 2xM / 3xM / 4xM (Bad is irregular).
-
Scaling is the weak point: craft cost rises with higher recipe tiers, but base values often don’t — so some mid-tier drinks can be worth almost the same as late-tier ones.
-
Business selling is the real boost: 4★ ≈ 3.7–3.8× base value, 5★ ≈ 4× base value.
-
Top profits (measured): 4★ Perfect drinks are strong; at 5★ the Mocha group confirms the 4× base pattern, and the “Medium base value = 9 Mew” groups are likely the absolute top if Perfect quality.
