Include LGBTQ+ Zois in the Default Population (No CAZ Required)

Dear devs, I’d like to suggest something that would make the world in InZOI feel a lot more natural and inclusive.

Right now, if players want their Zoi to be in a same-sex relationship, they have to go into CAZ and create a partner manually. While that works, it makes the world feel a bit limited, since there aren’t any LGBTQ+ Zois already living in it.

It would be great if the game included gay and lesbian Zois as part of the default population. That way, relationships can form more organically through gameplay, without players needing to step outside the experience to set things up themselves. It would also make the world feel more realistic and reflective of real life, where diverse relationships already exist.

Even just having a small number of pre-existing LGBTQ+ Zois, or allowing randomly generated Zois to have defined orientations, would go a long way. It would open up more storytelling possibilities and make the game feel more alive.

Thanks for considering this—I really think it would improve immersion and representation in a meaningful way.

Agreed as long as it is like real life (5-10% of the population as per Google).
Thought I was told that the game already create such inclined NPCs if your own zoi at the game’s beginning is also inclined that way ?

It’d be better if they are in the world already so you the player don’t have to go through the headache.

Woah I thought all Zois were already pansexual. Hmm well now I’m thinking I’ve just been lucky in that anytime I’ve made a bisexual Zoi they always end up chatting with pansexual Zois.

Mornin’

Yeah i am not sure why this was created because i know the game is already blending and mixing perfectly.

Hey op are you having problems with this ? I mean i know i can create a new save and in that save there will be couples living in the same sex relationship in default.

If you are having problems i think it is better to report it

Before i threw everybody out ( i needed the buildings for my zoi’s) i know i saw at least 3 couples living in the same sex relationship and the game also natural spawns new zoi’s with different sexual interest.

they do not shout about it though you need to look and ask so..yeah..

I want these bi/gay npc to be created regardless of the player’s own character creation.

but the game is already doing that

if it doesn’t do that to you then it must be a bug or a conflict if you are having mods

I’ve tried this with mods and without and no matter what I do, I can’t find them naturally…

Maybe it would be better to add a slider in the city settings? Like you can set the number of cars or the frequency of fires. Everyone could adjust their own percentage of LGBTQ+ Sims the way they want. Personally, I’ve already encountered non-binary people in gameplay, but to be honest it’s not a priority for me in the game, so I’d prefer not to have 50% of Sims be LGBTQ+.

An interesting thought. It’s really going to be realistic. I’m angree, but on the condition that everything is balanced and does not go to the point of absurdity: without flags, colors, symbols, etc. in every corner.

So far I haven’t encountered NPCs who are exclusively gay, but plenty who are bisexual. The male boyfriend of one of my Zois often flirts with men on his own.

Maybe this option is designed to favor the player, in the sense that you see an NPC you like? You can choose to have a relationship with them regardless of what sex your Zoi is.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a single straight NPC in my game. All of them are bi. Which is weird tbh. Should be more realistic. But if you started the game with a straight zoi the game might just generated straight NPCs. I didn’t test that yet..

And yet I haven’t encountered bi zois like at all.. all of them are straight. :sob:

Definitely agreed .

I completely agree with you

Frankly speaking, the situation with randomness in Inzoi is pretty poor. This is because everything operates according to templates and hard-coded scripts. Implementing true randomness would be difficult; if it were added to the game, every third character would end up being exactly the same
