No gays in other citys than city of origin after 4.0

There are no ‘gay’ Zois in cities other than the city of origin.

I made a new playthrough after the October patch.

I made a gay female young adult in Dowon. At first everything was fine she meet a few gals who were interested. But decided to go to Cahaya on vacation.

While in Cahaya she could not find a single woman who were attracted to other women! I talked to at least a dozen, every single one.. straight.

Went back to Dowon all was fine again.

So I decided to check out Bliss Bay. I ‘interviewed about a half dozen female Zois. Every single one straight!

Oh and yes I checked my Zois preferences :slight_smile:

Dear Devs,

I prefer and play with only straight genders, ie romance only opposite gender. So when fixing whatever gender issues, please do not break the game for those who prefer only straight gender play (as was done with V03 update - everyone was romancing the same gender)

I respect the preferences of all others who may want to play romancing the same gender. Everyone is equally entitled to their preferences.

So, have an option in the game settings such that all players can choose how they want to play.

I have previously requested this.

Zois changed relationship to same gender interest. Add UI option in game settings to toggle “same gender” romance option ON or OFF

First of all, we are sorry for the inconvenience.

You can change the world into a place where romance is available among all genders by following the steps below:

  1. Open Self-Interaction Menu

    • Click on your Zoi to open the Self-Interaction menu.

  2. Select “Change Clothes”

    • Choose “Change Clothes”, then proceed to “Style Yourself.”

    • Or you can also click the Dressing Mirror > and click Edit Appearance

  3. Set Your Orientation

    • Select another non-binary orientation, and the place will automatically change to the non-binary world again.

  4. Adjust or Revert if Needed

    • If you want to go back to your previous identity, just re-enter the menu and make the change of your Zoi’s orientation again.
  • Example:
    Changing Zoi from “a man who likes men” → “a man who likes both men and women”
    :right_arrow: will immediately transition the place into the Non-binary World.

Are you saying I need to do this in each and every city?

Because I did set the preferences in the city of origin. Ill go play test and update.

K I went and checked and her preferences were set ‘correctly’ in all citys. the bug persists.

I will start a new playthrough and try again. Itll be a while though.

I have confirmed this issue and it is repeatable.

Create a ‘gay female Zoi in a city. Lets say Cahaya. Go around and meet some women most of whom are open to a gay relationship.

Then travel to another city, let’s say Dowon. Double check your preference settings. Then go around and meet some women, one after the other, none are gay.

Try Bliss Bay. Double check your preferences. Then go around and meet some women, one after the other, none are gay.

Return to Cahaya and everything is ‘normal’ again.

I appreciate the help Luna but fact is it is bugged. I’ve witnessed this in three playthroughs now As I said the preferences ARE set correctly but the bug persists.

This issue has been fixed through v0.5.0 update.

  • Fixed an issue where romance interactions were unavailable in the destination city due to gender preference settings after city travel
