The new randomized NPCs don't appear to have randomized sexualities in game

  • Steps to Reproduce:
    Check any NPC’s relationship information panel.

  • Details:
    All NPCs are back to generating as straight. I believe the randomized NPC addition caused this bug, because every Zoi I’ve randomized in CAZ is straight as well.

I posted a reply in the other similar thread.

Add a game settings level option “Romance same gender ON/OFF”. The current gender setting options in CAZ stay as is, giving a further level of game play.

I just made a post about this too.

However, in my case there were non binary Zois in my hometown.

But when I went to Cahaya on vacation not a single npc was gay.

I’d like this too. I prefer straight zois but wouldn’t mind a few gay ones, but i don’t want my game generating mostly randomized ones - give me a straight-gay slider or something that affects the overall distribution among newly created zois

I did a good deal of ‘reserarch’ and this is defiantly a repeatable bug.

Dashed my hopes of having a love interest in all three citys.

This probably should’ve been added to the “wishlist” but would anyone else like a feature in CAZ for their Zoi like “can’t decide”? I think this could be implemented for teen NPCs and some young adults who can’t quite figure out who they’re attracted to until someone shows interest in them, and if they reciprocate. Also to disable romantic relationship searches for NPCs if they don’t feel comfortable with romance. Some might disagree with me, but in my opinion, this would make things a bit more interesting than all Zois being attracted to the opposite sex or all genders. Or this feature could be made optional in the settings.

I also find it kind of weird that one a npc zoi’s preferences are set they are cast in stone and cannot be changed.

At least let me ‘try’ to sway them :smiley:

I had a random NPC show up as gay yesterday! I think all it really takes is making the first Zoi you make in the save have a sexuality other than straight!

It seems to be dependent on how you set the preferences for YOUR zoi.

make your zoi non binary and there will be other non binary’s around.

Make them binary then everyone is binary.
