In update 0.8.0, we added a mask for the criminal. It’s good. There is even a separate function in the character’s menu: Put on a special mask. However, there is no function to remove a special mask. You can remove the mask only after changing clothes. WHY IS THAT? THIS IS NONSENSE! I would like to see this fix in the next hotfix.
It would be much better to make a function for each Zoi: Without changing the outfit, wear a headdress. You can also improve the gameplay with this. For example: In summer, with abnormal heat, a sun hat or cap has a percentage of Zoi protection from sunstroke. In winter, the hat protects a little from hypothermia. Helmets for motorcycles and bicycles have also been added, but they are of no use other than their appearance. They can protect as much as possible from a Zoi impact in an accident.

Myself and a friend have both made the mistake of getting a Let’s Play character to wear the mask, and now we’re struggling with the character always putting it back on.

When I first read your post, I laughed out loud because it’s perfect sarcasm. 
Then I realized you might be speaking for the zoi you’re playing, and either way, I love your post. 
omg this! its so annoying i have no idea how to fix this. i really hope someones submits a ticket and they get this fixed next update..
I think this is a bug. 
I am having the same issue. Mask is automatically on whenever my inzoi wakes up or takes a shower!
I would like this feature too. I have a Zoi who looks really good wearing a hat, but I don’t use it because he would wear it inside the house all the time. It’s the same with sunglasses. I don’t use them because Zois would also walk around wearing them at home.
Please add an option to simply put hats, other headwear, and accessories on and take them off during gameplay. Especially considering the new anime masks that are supposed to be coming, I think this would be a really useful option.
I agree. There should be an option like the tick we can set on “wearing shoes” in the house. One could add “wearing hat” for indoors as well. Sunglasses might be more difficult to distinguish from normal glasses, but I would like that too
Oh, especially in the context of adding anime masks, some system for controlling their use is necessary. Right now the game randomly starts adding various things to NPCs, for example a reindeer horn headband in summer. I don’t want half of my friends suddenly running around in these masks 
. Not to mention that if these masks are constantly worn by my Sims, I won’t use them. I already avoid putting on certain winter clothes because my Sims walk around the house in them.
OMG, if they start walking around my city wearing these masks, I’m going to stop playing. The hairstyles created by the hairdresser are already bad enough, but if they start wearing these masks too, that would be it for me. I just wouldn’t be able to take the game seriously anymore.
