First of all, I know that none of these—or all of them—will be accepted, but since they said we’re free to dream, I pushed the boundaries a little.
1. AI-Driven Dynamic Music Industry
Procedural Songwriting: Instead of pre-recorded loops, allow players to input lyrics or keywords. An integrated AI should generate a unique melody and vocal track based on the InZoi’s skill level.
Skill-Based Vocal Evolution: At Level 1, the character’s voice should be shaky and off-key. As they practice, the AI should refine the “vocal processing,” making the output professional at higher levels.
The “Chart” Ecosystem: A dynamic ranking system (Top 100). If your song is a hit, it plays on car radios and public speakers. If it’s “The Worst Song of the Year,” NPCs should recognize the tune and mock the player.
- Management and Agency Infrastructure
Diverse Agency Tiers: Players shouldn’t just “become” famous. They start in “Basement Agencies” (high commission, low perks) and work up to “Global Powerhouses.”
The Entourage: Hiring managers to book gigs, bodyguards to push through crowds, and stylists. If you fail to pay their high salaries, they should leak your private “Zois” (messages) to the press.
- The “Paparazzi & Scandal” Engine
Privacy Invasion: High-level celebrities should be followed by paparazzi. Dating in public should trigger “Breaking News” notifications on the in-game TV and social media.
Public Sentiment & Labels: Based on your actions, the public should label you. Are you the “Naughty Rebel” or “The Nation’s Sweetheart”? This should affect which brands want to work with you.
Defamation & Conflict: Getting into a fight should have immediate consequences—loss of endorsements and “hate comments” flooding your social feed.
- Geographical Class Separation
Exclusive Districts: A new, hyper-luxurious map (inspired by Beverly Hills or Ginza) accessible only to those with high fame or wealth.
The Brutal Downfall: If a celebrity goes bankrupt or gets canceled, they shouldn’t just stay in their mansion. Introduce a “Foreclosure System” where they are forced to move to a gritty, low-income district (like a rural Texas or industrial slum) to start over.
- Fan & Anti-Fan Obsession
The Sasaeng (Stalker) Mechanic: Some fans should become “obsessed,” waiting outside the Zoi’s house or trying to break in.
Award Show Drama: Interactive award ceremonies where losing causes genuine negative moodlets (Jealousy, Humiliation), leading to potential “Kanye-style” stage interruptions.
- The “Shadow Celebrity” & Digital Persona
Virtual Idols (VTubing): Allow Zois to become world-famous without ever showing their face, operating from a specialized home studio.
The “Face Reveal” Stakes: Maintaining a secret identity. If the player is spotted in public or caught by a “leaked photo” event, it triggers a massive global reveal event that could either double their fame or destroy their “mysterious” brand.
- Celebrity Dynasties (The Nepo- Mechanic)
Inherited Fame: Children of A-list celebrities should start with a “Silver Spoon” trait, giving them instant access to high-tier agencies but also “High Expectations” pressure.
Living in the Shadow: A unique psychological system where the child must work twice as hard to gain their own identity, or face being labeled as “just their parent’s kid” by the media and fans.
- Interactive Political & Social Influence
Activism & Lobbying: High-fame celebrities should be able to influence city laws (e.g., lower taxes, more parks) by organizing “Fan Rallies.”
The “Cancel Culture” Risk: One wrong public statement or a failed protest could lead to a “Mass Unfollowing” event, where stores refuse to sell your merchandise and NPCs refuse to interact with you.
- AI Deepfake & Cyber-Crime Scandals
Digital Defamation: Rival celebrities or hackers could use in-game AI to create “fake scandals” (Deepfake videos of you).
Legal Battles: Players must hire expensive lawyers to prove their innocence in court, adding a layer of “Crime & Justice” to the celebrity lifestyle.
Phase 2: Global Industry, High-Stakes Management & The “Karma” Engine
- The “IMDb” & Critic System (Quality-Based Reputation)
Project Ratings: Every movie, album, or commercial your Zoi produces should receive a public score (e.g., “Zoi-Meter” or “In-DB”). If your acting skill is low and you produce a flop, a 2.4/10 rating should haunt your career.
Career Stigma: Failing a major project isn’t just a moodlet; it should be a “Career Stain.” Top-tier directors and agencies should refuse to work with you for a specific duration until you “redeem” yourself in indie projects.
- International Fame & Geographical Friction
Regional Popularity: Fame should not be global by default. You might be an A-list star in Dowon (Korea) but a “Total Stranger” in Bliss Bay (USA).
The “Crossover” Challenge: Players must actively travel, do interviews in different languages (translated by in-game AI), and perform overseas to build “Global Recognition.” Each map should have its own “Top 10” leaderboard.
- High-Stakes Concert & Event Management
Logistics & Budgeting: Organizing a stadium tour should require a massive upfront investment. Players set ticket prices and production budgets.
The “Cancellation” Nightmare: If your Zoi cancels a concert last minute due to “Burnout” or “Sickness,” the consequences must be brutal. Massive legal lawsuits (money loss), “Disappointing” traits added to your profile, and angry fan protests outside your home.
- Performance Simulation & Real-Time Stress
The Pre-Show Ritual: Before a concert or a movie scene, Zois must “Practice” or “Meditate.” Skipping this leads to “Stage Fright” animations—stuttering, forgetting lyrics, or falling on stage.
Audience Synergy: If the performance is high-quality (based on your skill level), the crowd should enter a “Euphoria” state. If it’s bad, they should start leaving or booing in real-time.
- AI-Generated “Fan-Talk” & Radio Integration
Procedural Lyrics in Public: The AI-generated songs we mentioned in Phase 1 should actually be “shouted” or “chanted” by fans during concerts.
Live Radio Mentions: If you are Top 2 on the charts, the radio DJ should mention your Zoi’s name and current “Scandal Status” between songs.
- The “Power Trip” vs. “The Karma Motor”
Bribery & Media Manipulation: If you have enough wealth, you should be able to “pay off” critics to raise your 2.4 score to a 7.0. However, if this “Review Manipulation” is leaked, it triggers a “Global Integrity Scandal” that is 10x worse.
Political Influence: Top-tier celebrities should be able to influence city laws via “Fan Rallies.” Want lower taxes for the rich? Organize a rally. But beware—this might make “Working Class” NPCs hate you.
- “Elite” Social Hierarchy (The Invisible Wall)
The Paparazzi Shield: High-level fame should unlock “Private Airspace” and “VVIP Lounges” in airports.
Approachability Barrier: Normal NPCs should not be able to “Casual Chat” with a Global Star. They should only be able to “Admire from Afar” or “Request Photo,” which the Zoi can rudely decline—affecting their “Public Image” labels.
No “Omnipresent” Celebrities: In other games, A-list global superstars casually show up at rundown local bars, cheap gyms, or normal parks. It completely kills the realism. In inZOI, true celebrities should be elusive, heavily guarded, and rare to spot in ordinary public places.
End the “Robotic Fan Loop”: We don’t want a system where 3 NPCs gather, faint, ask for an autograph, hug the celebrity, and repeat this exact same animation loop forever. Fame shouldn’t look like a glitchy stage play.
Real Boundaries (No Random Hugs): A global megastar shouldn’t be easily approachable for a casual hug or chat by a random stranger on the street. This is why a functioning “Bodyguard/Security” system is an absolute must. There must be a physical and social barrier between the star and the public.
