For singers and idols specifically, I hope the game goes very deeply into the entertainment industry. I would love for this career path to feel unique and significantly different from other careers rather than simply being another fame source.
I think it would be interesting if different types of celebrities were held to different expectations by the public. In real life, K-pop idols are often held to much higher standards than other celebrities. For example, DJs, actors, and influencers are generally given much more freedom in their personal lives, while idols are often expected to maintain a carefully managed public image.
Because of this, I think it would be very interesting if idols in inZOI experienced unique challenges that other celebrities do not. Public dating, rumors, and scandals could have much larger consequences for idols, creating additional pressure and making image management a meaningful part of gameplay. Secret relationships, paparazzi photos, and misunderstandings could all contribute to the experience of living under constant public attention.
I also think these systems should be highly customizable, allowing players to adjust the intensity of the darker side of fame or disable it entirely. Some players may want a more relaxed experience, while others may enjoy a more realistic and demanding celebrity simulation.
Beyond scandals, I hope idols receive a great deal of depth in their careers. I would love to be able to create groups, recruit members, debut, release songs, and experience comebacks throughout their careers. It would also be exciting to attend award ceremonies, walk red carpets, appear on variety shows, participate in interviews, hold fan meetings, and interact with fans through social media and special events.
I would especially love for top celebrities to feel truly recognizable within the world. Seeing their advertisements on billboards, appearing in magazines, attending exclusive events, and becoming household names would make reaching the highest levels of fame feel incredibly rewarding.
