As a creator, I find it vital to have real control over the comments and reactions on my profile. Currently, the ‘Block’ feature only hides the user for me, but they can still react and mock my work publicly.
I’ve experienced cases where users use the ‘laughing cat’ emoji in a mocking way across multiple non-humorous posts. I am also seeing suspicious/bot accounts leaving cryptic or inappropriate comments like ‘666’ on my creations. I have had to report multiple instances of this behavior, which is time-consuming and inefficient.
Without the ability to delete comments or fully restrict a user from interacting with my profile, the Canvas feels like a space where harassment is too easy.
We need:
The ability to delete comments/reactions on our own posts.
A ‘Hard Block’ that prevents the user from seeing or reacting to our creations entirely.
Please, let’s make the Canvas a safer and more respectful place for all artists.
@LixyQuinn170 I totally agree with you. I also received the laughing cat emoji a few times and couldn’t really figure it out at first as it seems like a weird response for a creation but my first reaction to it was also that it was sent in a mocking way.
Thank you so much for your support and for sharing those links. It’s a relief (but also sad) to know I’m not the only one targeted by that mocking emoji; it definitely proves it’s a pattern that needs to be addressed.
I’ve actually seen those posts before and already cast my vote to support the cause. To be honest, this whole situation has been quite draining, so I haven’t had the energy to jump into the discussions yet, but I really appreciate you bringing them to my attention.
Hopefully, if we keep pushing, the developers will finally prioritize a safer environment for all of us!
I’m sorry that you have to go through that. I went through something similar and learned the hard way that the person I blocked still had access to my page and could comment (insults and threats).
If you need help reporting the person or people who are harassing you in Canvas please let us know. Until the block button works properly the report tool is all we have.
We creators are all standing together and will keep gently but respectfully nudging the inZoi team until they address this and other issues we’ve raised multiple times and take steps to resolve them .
@itsmechiie7 Thank you so much, I really appreciate your kindness! And I’m truly sorry you had to deal with that situation. it must have been very upsetting. It’s really unfair, and no one deserves that kind of treatment.
@Taibak I appreciate that, and I agree — it makes a big difference when we creators support each other. Hopefully the team will take action on these points soon.
