I have to write something unfortunately, it’s about time. The game itself is nice to look at, but it lacks substance. The last update was great, I have no issues. You guys are working hard, no question about that, and sometimes I wonder where the community’s priorities lie. People want pets (I like animals), but the Zoi still walks halfway around the house to check where he needs to go. Pets are cool, but I don’t need a horse in the bathroom either. Now to the actual topic “SmartZoi” – I’ve spent about two hours talking to a real AI. In my opinion, through the experiences in Inzoi, it’s just a marketing bubble that doesn’t exist. It consumes processing power and is factually non-existent. I have experience with AI, both local and external, nowadays more local since I have control over it, but no matter which AI mod, whether from Mount&Blade Bannerlord, SentientSim for Sims 4, the plugin for Rimworld, or local chat via SillyTavern, everything delivers better results than this “SmartZoi” function. There are so many indications that “SmartZoi” is only fake, that it’s barely ignorable. I mean, no thoughts, but the same text every time when washing hands? Game save, my wife and I, both SmartZoi on, she has thoughts, my Zoi I control myself, no thoughts, or standard, 1 maybe in 3 Zoi days. If a real AI were running, she would know what I’m doing, would even have to react better since the focus is on it. But nothing, instead my wife wants to dance for the third time. It’s cute, but not smart. And Inzoi just removed that whole “washing hands” thing. “SmartZoi” is just scripted, you can tell. What happened to the “Write Your Own Message” function anyway? First it said “coming soon,” now the button has completely disappeared, and it’s not like the Inzoi smartphone has been completely overhauled. One more thing, even my dumbest local AI tries to understand my language, then you get Denglish or gibberish, but “SmartZoi” only accepts “English”? Great AI you’ve got there 
People who say “SmartZoi” works probably just have a placebo effect – my Zoi is a bookworm, so now I only notice when he reads a book again. Inzoi isn’t a bad game and you’re working hard on it, I think that’s great, it’s just that – let the illusion of AI burst, it was a nice Early Access gimmick to sell the game, nice idea, poorly executed, so take the garbage out and focus on the game, because it absolutely deserves it. And don’t advertise something obviously non-existent or completely broken from day 1. That’s all I wanted to say. Thanks.
We basically proved today: Just because a car has a tablet in the cockpit doesn’t make it a Tesla – and just because a Zoi has a speech bubble doesn’t make him “smart.”
