When I’m on Canvas, there are so many times that I want to get a better look at the images. We can’t take good close-up images in the Photo Mode, so seeing details of another person’s creation is out of the question because the images aren’t even shown at full screen.
I want to click on an image on Canvas (images uploaded with the creation) and have them open in a pop-up window that lets us see the image better. Perhaps we could click on the image in the pop-up for an even closer look, but only if the functionality isn’t too challenging to implement.
Except, I don’t think it would be, because when I saved a copy of an image on one of my Canvas listings, the image dimensions are precisely the same as the images I snaped in Photo Mode to upload with my creation.
That means the full-sized image is being hosted but we’re not able to see it at that size.
Since it wouldn’t take any additional disk space to host images that are already full-sized, the only change required is to add a function to click an image an have a window pop-up with the image in it.
If an in-game version of Canvas makes a return (so many of us want it to!), then it would make sense for that function to be exclusive to the browser version. In that case, perhaps it could be set up so if a person clicks an image on a Canvas listing while viewing Canvas from within the game that it would open a browser version of Canvas and show that pop-up in the browser version.
Thank you for considering!!
