They bother me at any event, but these wedding ones are really long and intrusive 
. They ruin the whole atmosphere and are pointless. They make it impossible to take a decent screenshot.
Is there any way to disable them?

Press U to hide the interface. Or switch to photo mode.
But honestly, there’s already been a lot of discussion about this topic.

Yes, of course, I do that for photos, although I wanted to take a photo of the couple eating the cake together and it won’t let me because their hands are occupied.
But those huge captions also bother me during gameplay. They take away all my engagement in the event
If participants really need to be marked for an event, you could put a small symbol instead.
