Game crashes to desktop after launch

  • Issue Date: Since May 22nd

  • Error Message: No message, just crash

  • Details: I press play on steam and after the cat loading screen , it just closes as if I ended task back to the steam plays screen. I have tried reinstalling, trying older versions, going back a drivers update, verifying game files, turningoff hard ware acceleration but nothing is working. Help!!

hey, so I’m getting back to you because on my end I figured out the problem..

it was the AMD driver, I’m not sure if you have one but for me that was it

I had to install a cleanup utility to uninstall it and I had to reinstall the AMD driver and then the game finally opened!!

I also have an AMD system and this problem is caused by the driver. You need to completely uninstall and reinstall the driver without leaving any trace.
