I’m experiencing random furniture loading into my current lot from an old build I destroyed and then built a new lot. Every time I load back into the game or switch between a zoi thats out and then to one that’s back home it all goes back and has made me stop playing because I have to delete it all every time:(
I had a similar problem. Suddenly, objects and tables were slightly out of place, but there were two of each. After I deleted one table, I couldn’t delete any more objects. So I used the bulldozer and repositioned the building. The same thing happened again, the lounge chairs and tables on the upper floor were duplicated once more. So I deleted a table, and suddenly the entire floor had vanished, and tables and beds were floating in the air. Deleting with the hammer no longer worked, and even the bulldozer couldn’t clear the lot, so the tables on the upper floors were left hanging in the air.
I had no other choice but to start a new game - again - and out of frustration, I deleted that building and my old save files.
The same bug happened in my Bliss Bay save file shortly after the v0.8.0 update. I re-positioned the house and noticed some of the previous furniture from the third floor still floating in the air. Deleting didn’t work for very long. I’m unwilling to start a new save due to my tumblr blog with ongoing stories about my household, so I’ll just sit that one out until a patch comes along ![]()
Thanks for the reply, Heinz. I really hope a human — not an AI— is the one logging this bug. The building I deleted in frustration took me almost two weeks to build. I worked on it every day, and then suddenly this bug popped up. Actually, I wanted to upload it to Canvas and share it. That’s why I decided to delete my families, their family trees, and my save files. It’s sad, but that’s how it is.
I have the same problem. I have sent the file to the developers and I hope they will fix this error soon
I had this problem. Here’s how I solved it for myself: I put all the unnecessary objects in storage. Then I deleted them from there. This helped me, and the objects never came back.

Hi! So this has happened 2 times in my game. Once in Cahaya and now in Bliss Bay. I have tried editing properties and deleting the old house, and carefully placing the new one. But when I start playing in the household, the old items randomly appear and just float everywhere. they are in the way of my zois moving. Aside from placing the lot again or deleting all the items each time, I don’t know what to do or what caused it. There are no mods in these homes also.
Thank you for your help!
Oh no… This is crazy, especially if these start appearing over time.
I did not experience this issue so far. What I had were floating floor tiles which seem to be triggered everytime you change or place a wall. After a house is once affected that’s it. But this seems different.
Right! Its so weird, I’ve tried a few things to fix it and I wonder if anyone else has had this issue or its just me
lol
I’ve had floating books so far, both at home and on the street, but after a while they disappeared. There was a post about it.
Ohh yeahhh i saw that post!
welp i gess i’ll just wait for someone who has the same issue or for a team member to help me out ![]()
I think you’re referring to this post, right? random objects loading into current house from previous house
→ It’d be great if someone from the team could merge them ![]()
Hello @theylovesteez, I’ve merged your post into this thread since it relates to the same issue. Thanks!
@theylovesteez Luckily, I have not had this happen to me yet but it’s quite a horrible bug. Have you tried what @eakulina mentioned here yet?
Thank you!! i will check it out!
I will be trying it for sure! next time it happens. i dont think ive put things in storage so ill just have to find it! im glad i found someone with a similar issue ![]()
@theylovesteez I didn’t want the comment to get missed in the thread but I can’t confirm if it works as it may just be a work around for now until the developers can look at it. Good luck and please let us know if that works for you.
