Partner Program Feedback

This is not intended as criticism of any specific creator, modder, or partner.

Every creator has different priorities, schedules, and interests. However, I think it may be worth reviewing the goals and expectations of the Partner Program as inZOI continues to grow.

As a player, one of the reasons I follow partners is to see ongoing engagement with the game, learn about new features, hear balanced feedback, and discover creative ways to play. Recently, it feels like some of that activity has slowed down, which can make the community feel less active than it actually is, encouraging misleading or outdated information about the game.

Many smaller creators and newer YouTubers currently seem to be producing a lot of inZOI content, testing features, sharing feedback, and discussing future possibilities. It might be worth considering how these kinds of contributions could be recognized within the Partner Program.

I also understand that some partners are modders, and I would give them additional flexibility, especially while script modding support is still developing. Their ability to create content is currently more limited than it may be in the future.

Rather than focusing purely on audience size, I think the Partner Program could benefit from having clear expectations around community engagement and ongoing involvement with the game. This does not necessarily mean frequent uploads, but perhaps occasional updates, feedback, showcases, or discussions about the game’s development and direction.

Ultimately, I would like to see the Partner Program highlight creators who actively help grow the community, generate discussion, provide constructive criticism, and encourage long-term interest in inZOI.

Agree Agree Agree!!! Partners are a very good way to help the community grow so it should be a more focused and clear choice. I’ve watched some of these partners not having touched the game since before Cahaya and trying to showcase what is new with the upcoming update while not sure if most things were already there or not.

So I like your idea, do you have any concrete ideas regarding these expectations? I agree it doesn’t necessarily mean posting often.

Thank you, and yes, I have been thinking about that.

Personally, I would not base partnership primarily on subscriber count, upload frequency, or social media reach. Those things are useful, but they don’t necessarily reflect contribution.

Some examples of expectations I think could work:

  • Remaining reasonably active within the inZOI community.
  • Demonstrating ongoing interest in the game.
  • Providing constructive feedback rather than only praise or only criticism.
  • Helping new players through guides, tutorials, or community support.
  • Speaking on Kjuns news and his ideas at times
  • Reporting bugs and testing updates.
  • Creating builds, characters, stories, mods, tools, or other community resources.
  • Participating in discussions about future development.

I also think there should be multiple paths into the Partner Program.

For example:

  • Content Creator Partner
  • Modding Partner
  • Builder/Creator Partner
  • Community/Feedback & Testing Partner - i see this is already the case In the forums

Not everyone contributes in the same way, and I don’t think someone should need a large audience to be recognized if they are consistently helping the game and community grow.

I would also love to see periodic reviews of partnerships. Not to remove people unfairly, but to ensure the program reflects the people currently contributing rather than only those who contributed years ago.

However, this is my personal take and can be revised to better suit Inzoi’s needs. I just believe firmly that partnership shouldn’t just reflect who was active in the past. It should also reflect who is actively contributing today.

  • Demonstrating ongoing interest in the game.

I think this is key, because I see too many content creators as I said that do not bother to dive deeply into the new updates, or get completely lost into features that are updates old because they don’t play the game often. Which is okay, it is not their obligation, I would just like the creators that actually play the game consistenly (and I know quite a few of them) to be invited into the partner program even if they don’t meet other criteria. In the end, they are bringing attention and promoting the game in their own way, and their enjoyment and passion for inZOI is contagious.

  • Content Creator Partner
  • Modding Partner
  • Builder/Creator Partner
  • Community/Feedback & Testing Partner - i see this is already the case In the forums

Absolutely! These are all types of dedicated players that promote the game in their own ways and I believe a partnership could boost both these creators and inZOI.

These are very good ideas, thank you for sharing. I hope one day this conversation can reach the studio in some way.

I think that’s exactly why the focus should be on the quality of partners rather than the quantity of content.

Personally, my concern isn’t that partners aren’t uploading enough videos. It’s whether the Partner Program is recognizing people who are actively contributing to the game’s growth, community, and future.

Some of the most valuable people in the community aren’t necessarily the largest creators. They are often the ones consistently:

  • Testing updates
  • Reporting bugs
  • Writing feedback
  • Creating guides
  • Building lots and characters
  • Developing mods
  • Encouraging discussion
  • Helping new players

Many smaller creators are doing this because they genuinely enjoy the game and want to see it succeed.

I would love to see the Partner Program continue to support established creators while also creating opportunities for smaller but highly engaged community members who have demonstrated long-term commitment to inZOI.

A creator with 5,000 passionate followers who actively contributes to the community may provide more value to the game’s ecosystem than a creator with 500,000 followers who rarely engages with it.

For me, partnership should represent contribution, trust, and ongoing involvement with the community, not just audience size or past involvement.

That would help the program feel more dynamic while also rewarding the people actively helping the game grow today.

I agree with both you and @Moooody, particularly on this part:

Some of the most valuable people in the community aren’t necessarily the largest creators.

I’ve actually thought about this topic quite a lot over the past few months, but never ended up making a post about the current state of the Partner Program.

Personally, I think there’s a lot of room for improvement, and many of the things discussed here would be a great place to start. I’ve never really cared how many followers someone has, what I care about is whether they’re actively playing the game, engaging with the community, and helping it grow. Because it shows in their content, and sometimes and pardon my french, it feels not very inviting and half arsed.

Of course I know this doesn’t apply to every current partner and I am sure there are some out there that genuinely care about the game and about helping it grow… but I do think there are plenty of cases such as what Mooody mentioned that you can see they have not played like for months to a year and they can’t even distinguish what is new and added and what is not.

At the end of the day, I’d love to see a Partner Program that recognizes ongoing contribution and engagement as much as reach. Both matter, but if I had to choose one, I’d pick genuine involvement with the game and community every time.

Great post :custom_heart:

I agree. Some of the people who have contributed the most to inZOI’s community aren’t necessarily the biggest creators.

When I think about the names I recognize in the forums, they’re often the people testing every update, helping players troubleshoot issues, reporting bugs, creating mods, and taking the time to write thoughtful feedback. Those contributions may not always come with huge follower counts, but they absolutely help the game grow.

But if I had to go even deeper in this “issue” I would also say it is very important that the criteria to choosing Golden Ducks is also keeping all these in mind, quality always over quantity

This is so true, if you go through the list of inZOI partners on Canvas, you can see there are many people that stopped participating almost immediately after launch. I’m sure inZOI would benefit more if they revised this a bit, especially now after so much time has passed and a lot of creators came and went.

Following @VIBES comment I’ve gone down the rabbit hole and investigate how our Canvas partner program is going and turns out most of the partners have been gone for months if not a year, both around Canvas and Youtube. I want to preface this by saying I have absolutely nothing against these people at all, but these are the facts:

Note that when it comes to Canvas activity, it’s 2 active partners out of 30.

Notes for transparency

  • Percentages are calculated as: inZOI videos ÷ total channel videos × 100.
  • Canvas dates refer to the latest publicly visible Canvas creation.
  • YouTube dates refer to the most recent inZOI-related upload identified during review.
  • “Active” was used where exact counts were not yet collected [meaning these people constantly post in Canvas and Youtube].

Please InZoi Team, give other people that is active the oportunity to join the program. I believe there are plenty of inzoi players and inzoi “micro-creators” that would love the opportunity to do what they already do to help the community grow but “officially”.Maybe it’s time for spring cleening.

I am going to bring this over to Discord, hopefully we will get this looked into!

This is so incredibly useful and actually worse than i assumed.

Completely agreed. I’m a new creator, but have been playing Inzoi since the release. I have been growing like crazy since starting in April, and followers have been consistently checking my page for updates on the game. I know there are dues to be paid and processes to be followed, but I would love to see an opportunity for smaller creators like me, who are bringing more players to the community, to showcase the game.

I’m also a developer and designer for my day job, so early access, feedback, bugs etc. are all a part of my day to day process and I would love the opportunity to be more involved with Inzoi as its growing.

Exactly this! I’d love for small creators and passionate players that can and want to contribute to be able to do so, so hopefully in the future the recruitment will be open again (and hope we’ll see you there!)

I’m a small creator too even though I’ve been playing from the beginning but because I’m a builder, my creations take time and I can’t post content every other day, sadly. I think their criteria was that you need to have a large YouTube following and be a Twitch streamer. So very unfortunately, for me - even though I promote inZOI on almost every other social platform except Twitch:sob: (I’m too shy to do live streaming)
It would be really nice, if they could recognize smaller creators that promote and post content on other platforms as well.
Promoting inZOI, in my opinion means sharing content that interest other people enough to want to install it and/or play it. That could be anything form creating Zoi’s, clothing, furniture, mods, textures and builds.
I have also noticed they don’t do their Instagram stories anymore, which was really nice as they showed different creators regularly.
They just need to keep the active players motivated :custom_butterfly:
