I am not Chiie but might I chime in?

I found at least one older report (“Children and Adults cannot acquire or use portable lights”) that appears related to this issue.. but it’s your so you probably know! It may not be new to 0.9.0, although if the Explorer’s Flashlight is now the only portable light that works, the update may have made the problem more noticeable.

I will also try to test it

Yes, the flashlight is working. However the others are still not working and are ineffective. You can try it and tell me the result.

I misunderstood the question then.

Hopefully they will try and help us on Curseforge Authors, but I have very little faith in it.

The issue was reported here for all the portable lights, but it looks like the Explorer’s flashlight was the only one fixed by the update

Yes, only “Explorer’s flashlight” works the others are still broken.
