Hey there!

I just recently started to play the game and I really like it! I noticed its kinda hard to build roofs if the foundation is not a square/rectangle. So I was wondering how about a roof tool like the wall tool? So instead of placing a finished roof that can be adjusted, I thought of implementing a tool to build the foundation yourself and then the roof is being created in a certain style a player can choose from.

Just in case an idea like this already exists (whether in-game or in the forum) excuse me, but I really like the game and the work of the developers, so I wanted to offer an idea :smiley:

I think your idea is really great!
I’m still quite bothered by the roofs… They’ve improved a lot since the early access launch, but I still feel like they don’t match the quality of everything else. They end up falling short.
In fact, I’d really like it if it were possible to have rain gutters, like the ones that exist in decorative, non-habitable houses.
I wouldn’t mind if the roofs were “auto-generated” by just choosing the style, as long as they were as beautiful, realistic, and detailed as the rest of the game.
