Movement on the stairs works automatically if you come close to it. There is an invisible path line on them, to which Zois are attached for automatic movement up the stairs. This is where the problem begins when we increase the size of the ladder in width and Zoi starts to get stupid on it and his movement on the stairs is not logical.
I suggest untying the Zoi from the waylines on the stairs and making the descent and ascent to any point on the stairs. Also give the opportunity to run up / down stairs (as well as the opportunity to fall and roll down the stairs, such as Death Stranding )
Stairs have been irritating me from the very beginning. The animation for going down or up starts at a certain point and I literally lose it every time I have to go up the stairs, so I pretty much try to avoid using them in the game (but of course, that’s not a real solution)
I found the “correct” staircase in Bliss Bay. It is located near the entrance to the Lumiere. On it, the character ascends and descends freely without bindings. It is necessary that the rest of the stairs work in the construction mode as well.
Because it’s most likely not a staircase, but platforms stacked on top of each other.
I made myself a “staircase” like that in my house in Cahaya. Where the exit from the terrace is.
