  • Steps to Reproduce: Anytime i enter the game, swap to build mode, then try to place objects down. This did not occur yesterday before the latest two patches were released, so it is a newer issue. I have shut down and restarted a few times, and it persists each time.

  • Please provide the entire save file(s) from the date when the issue occurred.

    2026-06-19 Anytime I try to place down an object in Build mode, it comes out dark in texture/tone and has strange black waves animated through the object. On certain objects I can click “reset” and the texture restores to normal, but other objects do not let you customize them so I cannot reset them to look how they are supposed to.

    Note: When placing objects, only the first appears to turn out dark with black textures. If I shift+place (to add multiple of the same object) it seems the second, third, etc. items all turn out normal and only the first comes out strangely textured.

    I have disabled all mods, validated game files, started a new save file - but regardless this occurs every time. I have not yet tried uninstalling/reinstalling but I am hoping to avoid that. I am playing on a save file I started after Cahaya was released so it is semi-newer.

Thank you for reporting this :folded_hands: Could you please try to clear the PSO in-game? It should be located in settings > graphics, if I’m not mistaken :smiley:

Hi there, I’m confirming that I just tried clearing the cache + restarted but the issue is still there/persisting. Thank you for the suggestion regardless!

Same here. This bug is not as critical, yet a bit annoying…

I have the same processor, the graphics card is RX 9070 XT - version Andrenaline 26.6.1. I do not have such a problem. But I have Windows 10 installed. Maybe it’s Windows 11 that’s buggy again.:grin:
