I noticed that since the 0.9 update, there is no hairdrying animation anymore after a shower/bath. They also stand in their bathrobe for a while and then suddenly change the clothes back to the everyday outfit. I am not sure it it’s a bug or if they intended to remove the hairdrying animation, but please bring it back/fix it!
Edit: I have a few cosmetic mods in my game like hairstyles, but my understanding of mods is not so deep as to know if they could break an entire animation when other animations work
Edit 2 29/06/26: It worked for a short moment after the recent patch and a new save file, but then stopped again on the same play day. It is weird
Yes, happens in my games too. I’m unaware if that’s intentional behavior or if the animation is broken atm. Please let us know 
It kind of feels like a bug, since my Zoi stands around in the bathrobe for a while instead of doing the animation? But maybe we’ll get some answers to that
I have a saved game from right before the latest version 0.9.0 came out, and I started a new game. So in this save, the hair drying animation works for me. I haven’t started a new save after the latest version, so I can’t say how the animation is working there. I’ve never used mods.
I continued my saved game from before the update and since then the animation was gone for me. I also tried a different file from another family and it also didn’t work. I deactivated my mods to test if that changes anything, but it didn’t for me. I wonder what the trigger is… Glad it still works for you!
The difference between us is that I’ve never installed mods in my game. And as is known from the experience of other players, even disabled mods can break the game mechanics. It would be great if other players wrote about the mods in their games. That would be clearer. But as it is, you can only guess what’s causing this error.

I created a new save to test it. As you can see, I have animation!
Thanks for the clip! Maybe I can check with a complete new save file and mods deleted beforehand (removed, not only disabled). Because I have no idea what could cause it, since other players also have that issue
I was just speculating about mods. The problem might be something else. But it’s worth checking with all mods completely removed to definitively rule that out.
I wonder if this is related to most of the portable lights being broken too. Maybe carryable functional objects are being hindered somehow

Just tested it in my game! It works as intended.
Is the mirror in a bad spot? Try using a different mirror or moving it to a different location. Zois will wander around if something or someone blocks them from completing an interaction.
Thanks for testing! My layout is exactly the same as before in my save state. He used the hairdryer before and stopped after the update. In the pictures above in my earlier comment, the Zoi also didn’t do it even though it was a default house that also worked before. I have two bathrooms and in both it does not work. Idk why 
.
P.S: I did not try manually using a blow dryer. I only meant the animation they used to do straight after a shower/bath when they still wear their bathrobe
Ohhhh, I completely misunderstood the issue. Thanks for pointing that out! Now that I understand, I haven’t seen my Zois autonomously dry their hair after baths lately either.
They change into the robe, but then walk away from the bathroom and change out of it.
No worries! I also could have worded it more clearly! And same for me. Since @NyushaDm still has the animation in game, as her clip shows, I really wonder what causes the issue. Because clearly they intended to keep the animation in the game. It’s nothing dramatic, but I really liked that detail

I just tested it, and it doesn’t work for me with autonomy off or on, so I wonder why.
