When you select the shower or bath action in ZOI, several errors occur that affect the game’s realism:
- The character showers with clothes on.
When you select the shower or bath action, the character doesn’t remove their clothes before starting. They perform the entire action fully dressed.
- The bathtub has no water.
When the character uses the bathtub, no water appears. They simply lie down inside it with their clothes on, as if they were going to bed, instead of taking a bath.
- The shower doesn’t work properly.
When the character uses the shower, steam appears, but they remain fully dressed and you can’t see any water coming out.
- The final animation doesn’t make sense.
When it’s done, the character puts on a bathrobe, which I like, but since they shower with clothes on and without water, it makes no sense.
These problems make the shower or bath action unrealistic and completely break immersion in the game. The animations would need to be reviewed so that characters remove their clothes before showering or bathing, the water works correctly, and the sequence is coherent from beginning to end.
I hope these errors can be fixed in a future update, as personal hygiene is a basic interaction that should work realistically.
