I was heavily considering buying the EP before July and was just wanting to take a peek at how much it is again. I looked and looked and couldn’t find it on the Steam page. I then loaded up my game and when I ran my mouse over the new world it said I already owned it! WAIT!! THIS WAS A FREE DLC?!!! * faints *
The only DLC so far is Cahaya and is for free. It had nothing to do with the recent school update. So far, all the content they release is free
Ok. But how do I get the High School stuff? I can’t find where to buy it? Or it even that free? When you mean everything is free?
You don’t need to buy anything. It is in the game
DANG! I really do feel a certain way about things all being free! So used to 30$ here 40$ there!
Luckily, it is not Sims 4. Otherwise it would have been 40 Euros ![]()
. To be fair, it would be crazy to release a paid dlc while they are in early access
True! When it comes to early access! I will be 100% honest! I really hope they slow down! Finish the game to perfection and then start pushing out the EPs! I will GLADLY buy them!
According to the roadmap, they will now focus on polishing what’s in the game. it’s pinned in this forum, if you want to check it. As long as they don’t take the Sims 4 route and release dlc that in total cost 1600 just to have a complete game
Yes! But look at this game already! THE DANG DETAIL! The gameplay! It’s worth the money! I just wish the towns were bigger!
My guess would be that we can expect dlc maybe in like 2-3 years. The release might be mid to late 2027. It is better if they take their time and stabilize what we have, so the full release will be smooth
ABSOLUTELY!! Do you remember…Hmm might not be old enough to remember! I’ll be 40 in two years. The Sims 3 when that was coming out. It was originally scheduled for February of that year and had to be push back until September because the creators were afraid it wasn’t up to scratch. Ah the good ol days when creators cared! Yep! I can wait! Go for it, Inzoi! We are waiting patiently!
I am old enough, turning 32 this year haha. Back then, when Maxis was still able to create good products under EA. It did release with it’s fair share of bugs, but the game was full of effort and ambition, which EA lost over the years and is instead a cash grabber. I have high hopes for inZoi, since the team listens to the people
They do indeed, Listen! Takes a gamer to make the perfect game!
Totally agree with both of you. I definitely like the team’s “no paid dlc in early access” policy. It’s very customer friendly and also pays respect to the players who supported the game while it’s in early access. A way better, customer-friendly attempt at pricing than the major life-sim dominating franchise we all know and have a love-hate relationship with.
