Please Don't Skimp on CAZ Items or Wait for a DLC - Make it rain!

I’ve referenced this in other posts of mine but I want to call it out explicitly.

Hairstyles and clothing/accessory items should not only be included in paid DLCs. Also, while player-created MODs are wonderful, I feel that historically the developers rely on them to keep that aspect of the game interesting. This needs to change.

Even if the developers look to modders to lead the effort - modders should be 3rd party contractors and compensated to consistenly crank out fun stuff on a larger scale, consistently. :umbrella_with_rain_drops:

Maintenance updates should always include a few new CAZ items. Period.

Please make this the new norm for the new generation of players.

I can’t quite let this go, so please bear with me :bear:

To me, a clear path to providing a stellar “boutique-like” service that is not reflected in The Sims or other proposed life sims to my knowledge…CONSISTENT, FREE CONTENT from the developer. (in addition to all the amazing CurseForge content creators)

Today, and for far too long, it is normal to pay $5ish USD and get 20-30ish CAS or Build items and the options are too few and too far between.

I have always despised this, but also sometimes in my life, I do not have the bandwidth to go treasure hunting on the interwebs for quality MODs (specifically meshes). They exist, I know, and there are some amazing artists out there. I’d rather just play the game, but I still want that excitement of something new…and not have to wait weeks or months for the next kit, bundle, or pack. And then after purchase, buyer’s remorse and kinda feel like I am taken for a :lollipop: lol. Like many others, I am certain - I always dealt with this bc again, time/bandwidth. If you can’t beat’em, join’em. :mending_heart:

BUT WHAT IF it was normal to receive a hairstyle, a clothing item, an accessory item, and a build item with every weekly “maintenance” update?

Or better yet, a few made availabe weekly in MODs to download if we want from inZOI :psycat_wow:

It seems small but that regular bit of “new” is enough to easily spark a day/week of play - especially for the players that do not drop in unless there is guaranteed new content to found. Not all of them, but I believe a significant amount would log in more regularly than they would otherwise. This should be implemented as a “way of life” change, not as a gimmick - like, YOU MATTER TO US. :kjun_heart:

Seasoned 3D graphic artists can crank meshes out - inZOI MODs is undeniable evidence of that. If Krafton/inZOI dedicates a few FTE to this, as a permanent focus - not in addition to unrelated responsibilities - it could be absolute magical. Or 1099 (aka 3rd party contractor employment somehow) some of the amazing artists that are already creating awesomely chic MODs. Pogpung, JaruS, Apaloosa10, DivinityArt, Heemon, and so many others! Also, someone please find/hire CazySims bc their hairstyles are exquisite and my absolute favorites - seriously, I need more please. :psycat_sad:

I would happily still purchase DLCs but the extra MODs would keep me entranced and more importantly, feeling appreciated & respected. That is where brand loyalty comes from. Looking to get daily numbers up? This seems so obvious to me as a way to spike that lagging number by creating mystery about what could show up next.

GIVE US FOMO. Please. :psycat_blush:
