Steps to Reproduce: I have a trial scheduled, but can’t attend it. I initially thought that my character would automatically go as per the schedule, but they didn’t. I then exited out of the game and went to an earlier save (which was 2 hours before trial), and actually took my character to the High Court (Bliss Bay). The room was locked, so I had him hang out in the hallway. Nothing ever happened. When the trial time came, he got a failure to appear without ever being able to even enter the courtroom at all.
I wanted to add that since I initially reported this bug, not even a new save will create a situation that results in a trial. Tonight was my 5th attempt at a new save with the same issue.
May I ask how you’re able to even have a trial? I’ve started about 5 new games since your post actually (only because I also submitted a bug report that was submitted around the same time). My thinking is that there was something wrong with my save or the mods I was using, but one thing is consistent. My character does not skill up in terms of crime level, nor is he able to attend a trial. He can go to the court manually (door is locked, and no one is there either), he will neither teleport from the jail, or home. I am wondering what everyone else is doing that I’m not.
Could you please send a photo of your save file if you have one? Because such a topic doesn’t really make sense.
