As a builder obsessed with homes and apartments, I’m loving the glass walls/floors. However glass roofs would be next-level—imagine building sunlit greenhouses, modern skylights, or loft-style apartments with natural lighting!
Could the team consider adding them (maybe even as roof accessories)?

I’ve tried adding skylights to my builds too, but they usually don’t turn out that great and it takes a lot of time and effort.

THIS IS A GOOD IDEA, I THINK THEY SHOULD FOCUS MORE ON THESE COMMUNITY REQUESTS NOW, SO THAT IN THE FUTURE THEY CAN START THINKING ABOUT EXPANSIONS, FIXING WHAT WE ALREADY HAVE AND IMPROVING IT TO THEN MOVE FORWARD WITH NEW DLCs
Thanks your support! It’s great to see more players interested in glass roofs, skylights and greenhouses — I really believe these features would add a lot to building creativity in Inzoi. I started this thread because I’d love to see them in the game too. Fingers crossed the dev team considers it for future updates!

(it’s OT, but the main focus of the developers is on improving the base game. Cahaya was planned as a third basegame city (it was on the globe when you start a new game from the very beginning of early access) and they delayed it to focus on the base game. Just check the showcase on youtube, the first thing Kjun talks about are base game updates and improvements)
Glass roof is my dream from the start, I hope devs see this topic and consider adding glass roofs asap.
I also hope for the ceiling beams as a part of a ceiling and on its own. I once tried to do beams with what we got and it took me a lot of effort and time.

Update: Just adding a small extra idea! 
It’d be great if we could also use glass textures on the vertical roof sections that connect with the house walls.
Those parts count as walls, but glass materials can’t be applied right now — and since we can already paint roof interiors/exteriors separately, adding this glass option would make builds like greenhouses or skylight roofs look even cooler! 
I hope they also add colorful stained glass skylights or the ability to change the color of the glass roof, like for example having a green transparent glass roof. That would be beautiful.
Totally! Custom tinted glass would make builds way more fun. Even just adding the colors/tints we already have — plus frosted and patterned glass — would be a huge win!! 
I’m super excited for the December update! It was shared on the “Brainstorm with Kjun” Discord channel that there will be new roof accessories like chimneys and ornaments — plus modular roofs and resizable windows. Can’t wait to try everything new!!
