Issue with adding random authors

When I create a zoi, I start from the randomized NPC the game provides. I’m sure not to use anything from other creators, but when I go to post to Canvas, it will add random users as authors.

I’m aware if you start from someone else’s work with any item, it’ll flag it; however, I’m intentionally not using anyone’s work and I’m still having this issue.

I notice it most for outfits and makeup. It just happened with makeup. When I save the make up it keeps flagging as a preset and put it on a different zoi it’s fine and shows as my own preset. So it is very inconsistent.

Yes, unfortunately this is a well-known issue within the community ever since launch.

I did a test on the credits / authors system a while back and noticed: If you test a few other outfits (downloaded ones from Canvas) before designing your own Zoi, the credits sometimes go to the authors from the previously only tested, not used outfits / presets.
→ You can reset the credits by clicking on a complete Zoi preset made by the inZOI team before starting over with making your own creation though, in case you didn’t know :smiley:

Due to the multiple outfits per category option now, sometimes when uploading only your self-created outfit, Canvas lists some patterns from other outfits belonging to that specific Zoi too.
