I am a dedicated, mod-addicted, Sims player for over 15 years.

I am HAPPY for the transition to a new and extremely different simulation game, love how customizable everything is with patterns and colors. EA has turned into such a cash grab and the only thing that makes Sims fun is the mods.

I will say InZoi is SO fun without mods. I Have watched several streamers playing before I made the decision to spend the 40$… unfortunately for me, I did NOT realize gameplay isn’t the same on Mac via Steam compared to Windows.

I do love how integrated that Inzoi has made adding custom content via CurseForge and download while in game, it makes adding content so much easier, I have previously used CurseForge for my Sims 4 downloads. But… CurseForge says it can’t find my game on my computer… that’s when I ran to investigate at 2am and found out to my dismay that I might just have to suck it up and accept defeat.

I have currently done my research & know that I can run a program/ several diff programs to play the windows version. Back in my day we had to partition our hard drives to play the games we wanted to. I’m not new to this. BUT I PAID 40 BUCKS FOR THE MAC VERSION. In THIS economy?! I cannot justify purchasing the windows version just to satisfy the bug in my brain that wants to customize my sims to the fullest extent.

I didn’t know when I was downloading and purchasing from Steam that Mac OS doesn’t seem to have options to download OR enable mods. There are many such posts talking about the lack of “enable mods” switch, etc.
I am still determined to find a way to bypass this!!!
I know nothing about coding but I’ve been my modding my games and editing my myspace hyperlinks at 11 years old…and can figure things out with direction 
This ain’t my first rodeo with complex game issues.
in my /Documents folder, under Documents/INZOI , there is a “ModSave” file, in other discussions about the Windows version, some people discussed having to create a “~Mods” folder if one was not already present.
I am seeking people who are smarter than me to help me work through this conundrum. I love this game so far, but I wanna customize to my hearts desire!!
Please please please if anyone has any more information than what’s already been discussed on Inzoi forums ( I have scoured them all) please feel free to provide any information that can help me crack this. Or crash my whole game. Who knows.
