I understand that you prefer a calm playstyle, and that’s completely normal. Everyone has their own vision of what they want to find in a life simulation. However, that’s your personal preference, not the only definition of what a life simulation can be.
A life simulation should allow for representing different lifestyles and different ways of living. For some Zois, this can be a quiet life in the city. For others, it can be a life closer to nature, with fishing, hunting, camping, agriculture, or exploration.
inZOI already shows this direction. The game already has fishing, driving, car theft, and theft. The developers are also going to soon add free underwater swimming with activities and things to discover beneath the surface, as well as jumping. Yet these features don’t change the identity of the game.
A single feature doesn’t define what a game is. What matters is the overall experience and the freedom given to the player.
A Zoi can be a researcher, run a clothing boutique, grow and sell their vegetables, make a living from fishing or hunting, or follow a completely different path. That’s precisely the principle of a life simulation: creating your own life and your own story.
The wishlist exists precisely to allow players to share different ideas and possibilities. Everyone should be free to propose the type of life they would like to create for their Zoi. The developers can then decide what fits their vision of inZOI.
A complete life simulation should offer different ways to live, and not force everyone to follow the same way of playing. That’s also why I chose inZoi. ![]()
