InZOI does not close properly after exiting the game

    Hardware Specifications & Operating System (OS version, CPU, GPU, RAM, storage…):

  • Steps to Reproduce: save and exit the game

  • Details: After clicking “save and exit”, the game saves and closes, but on Steam it still shows as running. After clicking “stop game” it doesn’t close; instead it keeps stopping indefinitely. Then I can’t launch the game—I get a message saying “Game is already running”. The only solution is to exit Steam, which forces the game to close.
    The game is updated but I haven’t played it for over a month. This is a problem that has been happening to me for a long time.

I’ve just had the same issue with the demo of a completely different Steam game too. Might not be an inZOI issue, but that’s for the devs to figure out =) Thank you for reporting it!

Hey, I don’t think this is a game error, it’s just syncing the latest game save with the cloud storage in Steam.

I have noticed this too with inZOI specifically. Once I close all my browser windows - it stops running in Steam and I can continue to close the game as normal.

Yup i agree with this as well; incidentally my game seems to have issues syncing to the cloud after saving.. i think this too is a steam/connection issue instead of an Inzoi problem.

It happened to me too. I had resolved it by following someone’s suggestion here on the forum, by saving, going to the lobby, and only then quitting the game.
