Disabled working days - assumably from a holiday in previous seasons

  • Game Version: latest

  • Platform: (Steam windows)

  • Mods: none

  • Hardware Specifications & Operating System (OS version, CPU, GPU, RAM, storage…):

  • Steps to Reproduce: Friday as working day is missing in all seasons when the Zoi was played previously during fall where Halloween falls on a Friday. Friday is disabled as working day for the rest of the Zois life as it seems.

There was a bug thread on this issue where I already posted it months ago but this is now closed as solved. There most people were speaking about Wednesdays missing from working schedule and this was clarified as being due to holidays in the current season. This makes sense.

  • But as I posted back then and now months later it is still the issue: my Zoi has also Friday off. Only way I can explain it - there is the Halloween holiday on a Friday in Fall but as you can see in the screenshot we have winter and there is no holiday on Friday. Also the Zoi still has the “go to work” on his schedule but no work on Friday. Thus I think this is still not solved.

  • For the record: this Zoi was played during fall and in that season the Friday was off. Since then Friday was off in every season.

Unpleasant bug. I’ve encountered it many times. It would be better if we could disable holidays on demand. Not all Zoi want to constantly rest; some love to work a lot.

@LeeLoo agree. Even more so given that the current holiday activities are not all too interesting and not something you can really spend your day on. Visiting the festival lot is nice once, twice but then … I hope they also add more to the holiday gameplay…

But yes with this bug the working days are down to 3 per week which is annoying.

It would be much better if all zois LIVING IN THE CITY got auto-scheduled to go where the festival is happening between say, 1pm and 9pm on that day.

First it would be far less confusing (took me forever to understands the little symbol next to the day meant a vacation day).
Second, it would be an awesome hang-around with zois of all ages from in-town families, something that’s been a bit missing since the schoolyard hang-outs got removed in 0.9.0

A simple change like that and all of a sudden it makes it far more fun and interesting !

This is a fantastic idea @Samuriko I really like it and as you say: all of a sudden the festivals would make sense!

Actually even more so because the families really living in the city can only be met at the automatically scheduled events and otherwise are never hanging around in the city.
