Holiday Schedule Bug Permanently Disables Wednesdays

  • Had a holiday on a Wednesday in the game
  • Play until the next week - Wednesday’s remain blank for every Zoi, despite every Zoi having work

• Details:

I think a holiday permanently broke the scheduling system in my save file.

A holiday triggered correctly, and all of my Zois took the day off. However, ever since then, every Wednesday has been completely blank on every Zoi’s schedule, even though they are still technically employed and should have work that day.

I confirmed this across multiple households/Zois.

Current Behavior

• Wednesdays are permanently disabled/blank

• Work still exists in the schedule preview

• Wednesday cannot be toggled back on

• “Turn On All Schedule Items” does nothing

• The Wednesday toggle appears locked/uneditable

This is affecting all of my Zois, not just one household.

My entire city seems to have collectively decided Wednesdays aren’t real.

I’ve attached screenshots from three different Zois showing:

• Scheduled jobs still exist with Wednesdays included in work hours (bottom right)

• Wednesday remains permanently disabled anyway

This seems like the holiday overrode the schedule system and never properly reset afterward.

@TrinityTaylor this is really bad…

As I am playing rotationally I was not yet back with the household who had the Wednesday holiday. So I did not notice yet. I now went back to one of the households which had Halloween on a Friday and then Christmas on the upcoming Wednesday when I was playing them. And it seems even worse to me. In this household not only the Wednesday is missing but also the Friday… The go to work schedule is even there but not the work…

Does likely mean then that at some point we might have every Wednesday and Friday off - we just need to play long enough until we have the Zois through the Fall / Winter vacation combo?

I really hope this gets fixed soon
