The children icons do not match their actual age — in the game they are already all high school teenagers, and also, for merged families, the icons do not display the avatar of the added family, and the icons also contain long-dead zoi.

@tatyana-gold I think this is similar ot tied to the same issue as discussed here: Families lose avatar icons

At the moment the pictures are only displayed for the original in-game families. And it seems these are also static. Meaning the updates in age or family members do not show. E.g. if you would add one of your Zois to a premade in-game family the Zoi would also not appear in the picture.

As for Zoi households you created yourself there are no pictures at all - likely the first household in your screenshot. This should change soon when we will be able to make family pictures for our own family as well - see in the other thread. This has been annouced by Kjun in one of the latest news posts.

Hello. Yes, it looks similar, but it’s not the same thing. I wasn’t referring to my own household — I’ve already gotten used to the fact that my family doesn’t have an icon. I’m talking about the townies families created by the game. As you noticed, the newly moved-in families (created by the game, not me!) also don’t have family avatar icons. And the children in these townies families always look the same age whether it’s in the family list or in the list of acquaintances of my Zoi. This bug has been there from the very beginning, hardly anyone pays attention to it, and if they do notice it, they don’t talk about it on the forum.

@tatyana-gold Just to get it right: you mean that the families which are not there from the beginning but created by the game later while playing do not have a picture? That is the same for me. And has been like that from the beginning - I think.

And on the second aspect:

How do you mean that exactly? Do you mean in the “All Families” view? That would be the same as the picture is static and does not seem to update as mentioned.

Or do you mean you see these children also at the wrong age in your Zois relationship panel? If so this would be a new bug.

Just loaded a new save to check - see screenshot - here all premade families have a picture. These are the premade creations for that city when you start it and everytime the same. And unfortunately the pictures remain static. I hope this changes with the next update:

And here a save file which has been played for a while - as you see the original families are still with the same picture even though they have more children now, these are not shown in the pictures at all. And families created by the game later as well as my own families do not have a picture at all:

That’s what I’m talking about, here are two screenshots from the game as an example - in screenshots 1 and 2, the cursor is hovering over ZOI teenagers, this is what they look like at the current moment in the game, and their avatars for selecting an opponent in battle dances. This is a completely new game and a new save file, prom party at school. I hope now it’s clear what I mean when I say that the avatars don’t match the actual age of the ZOI. How else, more clearly, can I explain so you understand what we’re even talking about?!

Thanks, that’s exactly what I wanted to understand:

So then it is really a strange different bug. As you first posted the picture of the “All Families” view - I was not sure if you mean there or in the relationships tab. Now it is clear.

This never happened in my game, at least not for long. When they just age up it sometimes took a couple of hours until the icon is updated in the relationship panel as well. But not like in your case where it stays like that.

I hope this gets fixed.
