I don’t know if this a bug I just recently started playing and I’m struggling to find anything online. When my zois ‘set the mood next to bed’ they always get the pop up to test for pregnancy, then they have a sad moodlet if it’s negative. I don’t want the risk of pregnancy, and I don’t want them to be disappointed. I’m not sure what the point of ‘ask if they want to have a baby’ thing is if it’s always a risk?

I’m afraid this is not a bug, but not implemented yet to have a 100% contraception option. Here is a post that already mentioned that issue, if you want to check it:
I do agree that there should be an option that 100% prevents pregnancy. Especially if a person wants to play a Zoi, that wants to lead casual relationships or just don’t want a child yet.
The “asking for baby”, as far as I understand has a higher or even 100% chance to get pregnant while “set the mood” has the risk.

Never yet had this happen in my saves despite having almost 1000 hours played , Seems to me like a bug

It happened to me a lot of times, but it fluctuated between various updates or hotfixes. After some there were booms of births, after others the problem seemed to be resolved

Honestly, it’s never happened to me either that they just got pregnant like that :/. I don’t know what to say.
