I haven’t played in several months. With the revamp to the travel system in yesterday’s update, is it possible to move more than one household between cities, even if you have to do it one at a time? Can you have more than one city per save file, even if time is paused in the cities you’re not currently playing?
I’m asking because I’m waiting for Canvastown to release and I’m not sure if I should keep playing on my current save that has 4 households I’ve made, or if I’ll have to make duplicates of everyone in a new file when Canvastown is added.
I also have a question on the new travel system which fits quite well into this thread.
Does anybody know if it is now also possible to just select one of your employees as operator for your shop and then have a trip to another city with your family for vacation?
I mean with this update they have implemented a real vacation model and why should a shop owner not be allowed to go. Especially as we have the option to have the shop operated by one of the employees. That would not make any sense as it was before the update: once you have a business - that’s it, no more traveling for the rest of your life.
Really hope this has been changed but had no chance to try it out yet. Did somebody try?
I just immigrated to Cahaya with a household. You could choose between a vacation and immigrating. There were far fewer questions to confirm than usual—only two, and the rest was just as standard. I didn’t see an option anywhere to bring multiple households along. Unfortunately, we didn’t own a business, so I can’t say anything about that.
I’m assuming there’s not a way to go back to your previous city without traveling again? If you do travel back after some time has passed, does it look like all the same zois and buildings are still there?
I think you go back to your old house, and the save file is exactly how you left it. They haven’t lost their relationships with the people in Bliss Bay, and you can even still see them all in the family overview:
