The rabbit hole highschool for teenagers still exists!
@HeinziDerHeld and me talked about it in a different thread and he was so kind as to test it. Here is his post:
So, in short:
- The rabbit hole high school for teenagers has NOT been removed.
- All three cities still offer three school options for older kids.
- Two of those are rabbit hole schools, marked with the small mortarboard icon.
- The third option is the active school career where you can follow your teen.
- You can still switch/apply to one of the rabbit-hole schools normally.
- The school options are accessible through the phone
- After switching, active-school events such as prom/final exams no longer appear in the calendar.
I’ve seen the claim a few times now that teenagers are forced into active school gameplay after the 0.9 update, but that isn’t the case. The rabbit hole option is still there; it’s just a separate school choice.
Thanks again to @HeinziDerHeld for actually testing this!
Thank you for sharing this in Tips & Guides - I think it might be useful to a lot of players, new and veteran ones. I didn’t know it myself before testing it due to the bug report. Hope it helps
As I said, I only remembered doing that in 0.9 for my second family, so I wasn’t sure if it was still possible in 0.10 but thanks to your test, we could confirm it. I hope this helps people. Especially the ones with bigger families for easier gameplay
