Additional storage space

I can’t remember if this topic has come up before, but I’m running out of storage space for my Sims’ collections. My character cuts gemstones and sells them, but raw minerals and finished jewels are all in the same place. Plus, when I want to collect all the minerals, I have to constantly search for them, and when I want to cut all the jewels, I need to keep a supply in my bag. On top of that, I have two pickaxes for backup, a lamp, and some random trinkets, and the bag gets so full that the game wouldn’t let me create a picture frame because there’s no space, even though there were only 80 objects in it. I’m spreading out these stones, backup pickaxes, etc. wherever I can, but it’s very inconvenient and time-consuming.

Please add some boxes or chests like in The Sims 4 for the excess objects from the bag.

I usually just use the code to disable the weight limit, featherBag true

Otherwise it’s very inconvenient to play, you might need some item at any moment, and you might not have it with you.

Recently my character’s backpack got stuck with my farmer and despite entering and canceling the Zoi code, it keeps showing an overloaded backpack warning, even though it’s almost empty.

The other problem is that I sometimes get confused myself about what my Zoi has in her backpack and what I should sell and what I should keep  . And they’re still putting half-eaten leftovers and dirty plates in there. :woman_shrugging:

Yes, yes, that’s exactly why infinite weight is needed — so that when it gets filled up with books and dishes, it doesn’t cause a negative mood. And from time to time you need to do some cleaning.

As for the notification — you can try to actually overflow the backpack, and then empty it. Just like with stuck needs: you can actually bring a sim to starvation, and then feed them (or with sleep, bathroom, etc.)
