I can't play with Cahaya, the DCL is installed?

  • Hardware Specifications & Operating System (OS version, CPU, GPU, RAM, storage…):

  • Windows 11 Pro 64 bits,

  • AMD Ryzen 9 9900 12 -Core Processor,

  • 65536MB RAM,

  • Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti,

  • 2TB storage,

  • 1507MB VRAM,

  • Issue Date: 08/20/2025

  • Error Message: You already have this DCL. Install it and try again. Required DCL: Island Escape

  • Details:

  • I downloaded the update, and it says I don’t have it.

  • I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled everything. No results.

  • Mods disabled.

  • I have tried with a new game and a previous one. I have shots.

  • What can I do now? I can’t find the email for private sorry.

I had this issue too this morning.
Turned out:

:backhand_index_pointing_right: first the base game update gets installed

:backhand_index_pointing_right: then the Island Getaway DLC

There was also an issue with steam when I clicked on downloading the DLC, steam opened the game

So my solution is: restart your computer, go back to steam, go to the DLC page and download it

Then it should work, if not let me know, we go through it step by step

You wrote you installed the update, it wasn’t clear for me if you installed the update and the DLC

When you go into build mode, does it show the new items with the palm tree icon?

Yes, new installation and DCL. No, new objects are not displayed with the new icon.

Do you have any other ideas? Since you’ve had the same problem, I’d love to hear everything you did.

I’ll try a fresh install tomorrow.

How does your inZOI steam page look like?
Do you see the DLC there?
And what happens when you click on ‘Manage my DLC’?

Hi, I’m so sorry you have issues with the dlc.

I had a problem once and sent a ticket at https://support.playinzoi.com/hc/en-us

They were quick to respond. Maybe you should try to send them a ticket. I hope they could solve the problem asap.

I can’t see the same thing you see in my inZOi stean page, although I did download the DCL twice.

When you go ingame, do you see the basegame updates?
The pool stuff, for example?
